Dryer runs ,air is blowing thur exaust vent, air is blowing out fine, all seems well except only cool air coming out.the wife says some times cloths feel warm and are dry??
I cleaned out my interior vent-there was a lot of change and thick heavy lint-I checked my components all under 1 ohms-I put it back together and ran it the temp @ exhaust vent was 95 -98 degrees and the air temp in my garage was 65- I put the power cord back on my back up dryer and the discharge temp was 145 150 degrees- so it seems my dryer is heating a little bit but not quite what it should be- Any further addvise would be very helpful and i thank you again for your help -If you would like to call me please feel free @ 209]834-7783 thanks Rick I cleaned out my interior vent-there was a lot of change and thick heavy lint-I checked my components all under 1 ohms-I put it back together and ran it the temp @ exhaust vent was 95 -98 degrees and the air temp in my garage was 65- I put the power cord back on my back up dryer and the discharge temp was 145 150 degrees- so it seems my dryer is heating a little bit but not quite what it should be- Any further addvise would be very helpful and i thank you again for your help -If you would like to call me please feel free @ 209]834-7783 thanks Rick

CHECK YOUR WALL VENT AND DRYER VENT AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE CLEAR,ALOT OF THE TIME IF BLOCK THEY HOLD THE DAMP HOT AIR IN THE DRYER AND WILL TAKE FOREVER TO DRY,IF NOT THAT IT CAN ONLY BE YOUR HEATER BOX OR HEATER BOX FUSE,IF YOU HAVE A METER YOU CAN CHECK BOTH,LET ME KNOW-MIKE

thermal fused are one time fuses / maytag want's you to correct the problem that causes this . so dryer is safe. hi heat caused it to fail . so either the fan is not going or there is a restriction causing no air flow . try running the dryer off the vent if it works ok then clean the vent ,, hope this helped . pls leav feed back mm
First make sure that the dryer is vented properly, then check the blower wheel. A common problem is for the center of the blower wheel to get rounded out through wear and tear, allowing the blower wheel to spin on the shaft, thus not spinning at the same speed as the motor. I will attach a photo for reference. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.
I am not 100% sure, but I think that the model that maytag had with that dryer. When I was working for my local dealer I had to change several of those, and it about 2 weeks time they blew.
Since the vent was filled with lint I would check the High Limit termal fuse located on the front of the heater asm. It is best to replace the fuse and thermostat. These parts are part of a kit that can be purchased from your local supplier. The heater asm is located in trhe bottom left of the dryer. and looks like this
