Re: delete a virus and back folder inside USB
Goto safemode run virus scanner this should get rid of viruses since viruses have nothing to attach too
if you have vista safemode is tricky to get too somtimes it works sometimes it doesnt
also in safemode you can back up your files with out viruses
recommendation get a big external hard drive and start storing files you want to keep to that so when a virus hits you just un plug and go straight for a virus kill

Before you are sure the mails are harmless or bad, you should try to run a virus scanner. If you have Microsoft Security Essentials on you computer, start that. If you don't have a virus scanner, try to get a portable version on an USB stick or drive.
Be aware if you disconnected your computer form the net, you won't be able to delete mails either.
Typically this error is due to a corrupt installation. Unfortunately, the uninstall process, to ensure you remove everything, is quite messy. I have detailed the steps you need to follow below to properly uninstall, and then the steps to install correctly.
1st, the uninstall:
Begin by uninstalling from Add or Remove Programs (click on Start, Run, type in AppWiz.cpl and hit Enter).
Open My Computer, and browse to C:WindowsSystem32Macromed. If there is still a Flash folder inside the Macromed folder, run the uninstall executable. If there is no Flash folder, or after you complete the uninstall, delete the entire Macromed folder.
Open My Computer, and browse to C:Documents and Settings. Under each user's folder, delete the Application DataAdobeFlash folder.
Open the registry (click on Start, Run, type Regedit and click Enter).
Expand (click the + sign) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, under SOFTWARE, delete the Macromedia key.
Collapse (click the - sign) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and expand (click the + sign) HKEY_USERS.
Under EACH users folder, expand SOFTWARE, and delete the Macromedia folder.
Install Flash Player, and BE SURE to uncheck the Google Toolbar.
This should resolve the issue for you. If it does not, I would suggest getting a technician to assist. This is something that I typically remote control my customers' computer and do for them, usually takes about 15 minutes to complete.
freeze is full of adware and other bugs and trackers too. Many FREE products on the internet are. My search, free emoticons (u no the 1) and many gadgets are this way.
Aside from backing up your personal files and doing a recovery, it is very hard to remove them completely for your computer.
(XP)Disconnect from the internet(unplug line)then you can use add/remove in control panel. Then go into file system...open a folder and then hit show folders in the command bar above the main viewing area. The files will show to the left. Click plus sign next to My Computer, then next to local disk. Then programs. Look for and delete the folders that are obviously from freeze. If it won't let you then open those folders and delete the items inside, one at a time.
Now, go run a search for freeze and tell it to look in hidden and system folders. Delete the stuff you find, being carefull not to delete some part of another program.
Now, go back to filing system, to below program folder and click plus sign next to Windows. Scroll down to Prefetch folder and open it. Click edit, select all and delete those files. Restart
Right click on deleted items this should delete the entire folder for you. If not open deleted items click on the very top message and then hit CTRL + A on your keyboard and hit the Delete key on your keyboard
this will also delete the items..
To delete a junk mail folder you simply right click on the folder and choose Delete.
I just finished with Trend Micro help support and they solved this problem for me. Open the main console for Trend Micro. Click on Viruses & Spyware Controls. Click on the "settings" for Protection Against Viruses & Spyware. Click on Advanced Settings. Under the section for "What Should TMIS Check for Threats" click on the circle for "Specify Targets that you choose". Click on "Select" next to "Ignore Specific Files & Folders". Then Add and folders of files that you do not want Trend Micro to check and make backups for. That solved my issue...hope it helps you too.
