Question about Kodak EasyShare C340 Digital Camera
Hello, I just put new batteries in my camera and the green LED flashes but the camera does nothing, after 10 sec the light turns off. But I cant get anything to work on it just flashes green LED then stops. Is there a fix for this?
My EasyShare was doing the same thing your post describes, which is how I came to be at this website. I tried the one suggestion of turning on camera (I did so to the 'Auto' setting), then pressing the |O|/i button, which is the button below the 'delete' and above 'menu' next to the screen. That didn't work for me. I then tried the suggestion with the other modes on the power dial, no luck.
I then, from the off position, turned the dial the other way, to the 'favorites' icon, and it worked! I didn't have a memory card in at the time, so it made a noise almost like saying "uh-oh", with the message 'no images in favorites'. I then turned it off, then turned it to 'auto' again, good to go! The lens opened, green light remained on in all modes.
If this helps even one person, I'm glad.
