No power Hi my son hit the reset button on a powerboard that my plasma was plugged into and it tripped the meter. I went and flicked the meter switch and all other equipment came back on but not the plasma...can you help? I've tried pluggin it straight into the wall. I've turned on and off the main power switch and sub power. Still no lights showing. No Power. Plugged into wall outlet, outlet is getting power. TV will not come on. Is there a reset button? Can't find manuel.

I just read the user manual and it does not show a reset button. Are there any lights blinking? Let you set sit for a while and the turn it on once with the main switch. Constant switching on and off can and will cause problems.
Here is the User manual:

copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

High temperature affect the electric discharge/luminescence characteristic of the PDP
panel. Do not place the plasma television in high temperature environments.

    Operating altitude: 700 to 1,114hPa (9,676ft to -2,484ft). Operating temperature: 41°F
    to 95°F.
    : 300 to 1,114hPa (31,912ft to -2,484ft). Storage temperature: 5°F to
    140°F

Repeatedly turning the plasma television Power ON and OFF at short intervals may
result in failure of the television.
The on-screen motion of an actor's lips or other moving object may not be in sync with
the associated audio heard from the TV's speakers. This is caused by timing differences
in the broadcast signal or DVD content and is not caused by a defect in the television.
There's a few seconds response delay on the control buttons (Control panel or R/C) after
Response Delay the TV is turned ON; due to TV start-up routine. Please note that this is not a TV malfunction

Philips 42PF5320 plasma - unplugged and plugged in. wont turn on

This is a common problem on these plasma TV's. The problemresides in the high voltage boards known as the X and Y Sustainboards.. You can purchase them here for a very reasonable price:
http://www.discount-merchant.com/Y-SUSTAIN-FOR-42-PLASMA-TV-PN-6871QYH036A-p/sku9510.htm

The above link is to a Y-SUS board. The X-Sus board is often the 2nd cause of failure and can be found here:
http://www.discount-merchant.com/X-SUSTAIN-6871QZH041B-6870QZE017D-6871QZH052D-p/sku9509.htm

Totest which board is failing, you need to check voltage input to theYSUS board first... Input should be 120V from Power supply, outputshould be above 250V.. Do this test with XSUS disconnected. IF 250+Vexists, then XSUS is damaged. If not, then the YSUS is the faulty part.

Brand new LG plasma stuck on test screens

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

Hope it may help you;
