Question about IBM ThinkPad T21 Notebook
I just got this laptop, how / where do I switch it to wireless?
I've already got a wireless card installed on my T21 Thinkpad plus driver. Laptop was working fine before I did the fresh install of XP Prof. How the heck do I setup wifi so that it picks up my SSID? Wireless card installed & flashing. I'm already hardwired to router & internet works just fine that way. But it's just that there's a big yellow question mark in Device Manager for my Ethernet Controller. Where, what, how?! Got a Fix for me Y'all?!
Actually... nevermind. All I did was double-click the yellow question mark, and it did the rest. I'm finally up & running... it just took a really long time. Gotta love these old dinosaurs... ha ha!!

The laptop screen is secured to the laptop with screws at the hinges.
There are usually two screws per hinge. The LCD screen has one ribbon cable and possibly a power connector for the back lighting attached to the motherboard near the hinges. Disconnect these before you lift the LCD off the base, they are under the plastic panel above the function keys next to the hinges.
