This chassis has a PIP tuner also. Turn on you PIP, select tuner and try to autoprogram. If the PIP tuner picks up all of you channels you will know that the main tuner is bad

How to get channel 4

You have to go back to the setup screen and scan for channels. Then you need to have a signal present for channel 4 so that the scan finds that channel. Note that if it is a unit that is not digital then it wont find channel 4 for broadcast. If it is digital and you are hooking something to it like a video player then it wont see channel 4 if the player is not digital.

My tv wont program all tha channel nor will it make a sound I have a ws55111

You should on that model be able to direct enter with the Mitsubishi remote a channel and then in the menu "add" it.

If no sound check that (in the menu) speakers are not switched off.

Programming Channels

Your TV is likely set for "AIR" tuning rather than "CABLE" mode. In this case channels above 13 don't tune correctly. The tuning mode is adjusted through the setup menu (it's been too long since I've seen one of these to remember exactly how the menu looks). Once you set the tuning mode for cable, all the available channels should come in properly.

But you've said you have satellite, so you should have a satellite receiver connected to your TV, and you'd be changing channels there rather than on the TV. Your TV would be staying on channel 3 or 4 (if using the satellite antenna output connection), or on the A/V input you have the satellite connected to (if using the direct A/V outputs). Am I missing something about your system?

Audio video

Frequently you habe to press a TV/Video button on the remote, or channel down past channel 1.

Comment on the solution if this doesn't help and we can troubleshoot more.

Good luck!

Channel problem

Try going into the menu and changing it to the cable setting.

Cannot watch channels past 13

Your tuner settings must be set on broadcast instead of cable. Below channel 13, they use the same frequencies so it doesn't matter. Find the tuner settings page in the menus and change the cable/air setting.
