Re: connecting my mobile
I an assuming that you are trying to access the phone through the sony software, which, i think asks how you intend to connect to your pc, if so try using a different usb port.
if you are using Vista then there are compatability issues that ave not been resolved yet.

First off, if you can connect to the Internet ok then you really don't have a problem. There probably is another network card attached to your computer that is not configured correctly. If you can't Get online then try this: Go to control panel, network connections (something similar) and if the network card appears than right click and chose repair connection. would check in device manager(control panel) and see if the network card is listed. It probably has a yellow exclamation point next to it.If there is an exclamation point there, then right click the card and click uninstall.
Somehow download the latest network card driver from the PC vendor website / Motherboard vendor site / discrete network card site. Hope this helps Brian
try using WEP encryption, especially if you use a G router, as thid is easier for the adapter to work with then WPA. also make sure that you have the ports open for xbox Live, i think its ports 88 and 3074
Enter your IP address? If not go to http://whatismyip.com/ and enter that manually into your internet settings, on the last tab on the right of the dashboard. If the wireless adapter isn't reading the signal then you might have to reposition your router so it receives the signal.
Sounds like the router may need a firmware update as the DHCP service is failing to run correctly.
You can however just use a static ip address.
First of all find out the network address in use.
eg. 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.2.1
to find out, - start menu - run - cmd - ok - ipconfig
Log on to the client computer as Administrator or as Owner.
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click Network and Internet Connections.
Click Network Connections.
Right-click Wireless Network Connection, and then click Properties.
Click the General tab, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in the This connection uses the following items list, and then click Properties.
In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog box, click Obtain an IP address automatically (if it is not already selected), and then click OK.
Note You can also assign a unique static IP address in the range of 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.254. For example, you can assign the following static IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway:
IP Address 192.168.0.2 Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 Default gateway 192.168.0.1
It is possible that you need to further fine tune your WEP configuration. To verify if it's the security lock, try running the laptop and the router without the WEP security (disabled) and determine if you still get the "Limited connection or no connectivity".
If yes, you have just eliminated that area and could consider other possibilities, otherwise you then have to concentrate on the WEP security.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back on any developments (or lack thereof) or should you need additional information.
Here is a link to get the drivers for the BWU 713 wireless adapter:
This site requires you to register for free in order to download the file.
After you install it, go to START, CONTROL PANEL, NETWORK CONNECTIONS.
You will reach a window that shows some connections with computer icons. Right-click on the wireless connection and select 'view available networks'. In the next window that pops up (in the left pane) click refresh network list. If there are any wireless routers in your surroundings, they will show in this same window on the right.
These drivers are for windows 9x and xp. They might not work for vista. If your OS is vista, please let me know so I can try to locate a vista driver.
Hope this works for you.
