    where can i get the manual for this and how do i go about finding the problem as the freeze just died.

It will most likely be the compressor, I could not find a manual but try the link below. On the left you will see different pages to disassemble and replacement parts that you will need.

    it is a 2000 model so if the compressor is shot, then it would not be worth fixing?
