Take regular screw drivers and pound them in a little with a hammer and then pry all the way around till it comes apart.

Hi Remove the spark plug, fan housing and chain cover.Enter in the spark plug hole a piston blockator (a rope with many nods) and block the piston in the cilinder.Remove the clutch clockwise and the flyweel counter clockwise.Remove the air filter, the cover, the mufller, the carburator, the handle, the gas and oil tanks.Locate the 4 screews to remove the cilinder .Remove the oiler and the worm gear.At the clutch side are the screws to separate the crankcase.

the gasket is what is holding it together, if all the bolts are off. you gotta peel it apart. put one side in a vice is how i do it. and do it slowly. everything should slide out .im just telling you from my memory and i cant visualize that particular engine at the moment.

Hto remove crankshaft seals on a husqvarna 136 chainsaw

You will fully disassemble the engine as you must the cylinder from the crankcase. Husqvarna only sells the seals with the bearings they must be pressed on to the bearings. Since the 136 uses the same bearing set as the 141 you can order a set seals for the 141. In this the old seals must be pressed off first.
Here is a link to a site that sales the 141 seals.

How do I know if my husqvarna '51' has a 44 or 45 mm piston..Does it matter if I need a cylinder kit too...

The 50 had a 44mm piston, all 50 specials and 51s had a 45 mm piston, as a cylinder and piston both will fit the crankcase, the stroke was the same on both.

Inherited an older husqvarna chainsaw 50 rancher. Going through it see the start switch has only the wire from the ignition module going to the terminal on the switch...no other connection. Is the other...

If it is an early 50 the sides of the switch are metal, so this creates the earth, the later machine has a plastic switch, this had an earth tag on the switch, which sat on the top of the crankcase and was secured with a self tapping screw, this also held the switch in.

Could you please tell me the fuel mixture for husqvarna chainsaw

All Husqvarna machines are built to run on Husqvarna oil at 50-1, with the exception of the 3120XP this machine runs a 25-1 mix due to its size, always try to use the manufacturer of the saws oil , wheather it be Husqvarna, Stihl, Poulon, all manufacturers produce there own oil, they know the lubrication requirements of there machines, so what i am saying is Husqvarna two stroke oil mixed at 50-1.

Hi. Is it possible to drill & tap the raised round boss on the crankcase casting of a Husqvarna 272xp chainsaw & fit a decompressor. I really struggle to overcome the compression to start this saw....

Absoulutly not, this will end in disaster, try fitting an additional cylinder base gasket, and move the ignition module out to 0.5mm, make sure you are useing a 50-1 fuel oil mixture, i have done this many times and it will make things better, good luck.
