Question about Phones
Lost my manual while moving houses and need help to reset the date. My caller id is not working too. Has it anything to do with resetting the dates?
Press+hold MEM. "SET LANGUAGE" should be there. Press MEM , and "AREA CODE". Press MEM and "Set T/P". Press MEM "Ringer ON". Press MEM and "DATE/TIME". The "hour" will blink, type the number to set it. Then minutes Then "AM/PM". To swap it press any key, or "^" to skip. Then month. Then day. Then MEM to get to "CONTRAST". Then MEM to get out totally.

SOURCE: how to set time & date on phone
If you subscribe to Caller Display services, the first incoming call will set your phone's date and time automatically. Otherwise, here is how you do it.
1. press Options 2. Press * three times The display shows "Enter time/date?"
You may set both time and date or you may set either of them separately
TO SET BOTH 1. Press # when the display shows "*=Next #=Enter" 2. Wait for each prompt. You will be asked to enter: - the time - am or pm - SAVE - the month - the day, and - SAVE (Enter the hour, day, and month as two-digit numbers. For example, enter 02:15 for 2:15, 05 for May and 08 for the 8th of the month.)
TO SET ONLY THE DATE 1. Press # when the display shows "*=Next #=Enter" 2. Press * when the time appears 3. Enter the month and day when prompted. 4. Press SAVE
I have a question for you: Can you give me the specs of the AC adapter for this phone (usually written on the adapter)? 1. What is the OUTPUT in volts (V)? 2. What is the OUTPUT in milliamperes (mA)?
3. What is the polarity (i.e. is the + sign in the center of the jack or on the exterior)?
(The wall plug transformer has a diagram depicting two circles with the inner circle representing the center conductor. A line coming from the inner circle will show a minus (-) or a plus(+) symbol to let you know the polarity of the center conductor.)
