Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Am selling a home theatre system won in a raffle but have lost it's manual - the buyer wants it!
SOURCE: Phillips LX3600 Home Theatre
Power up the set and open tray in DVD mode.
Press <9999> follow by <X> buttons on the Remote control.
where x = numeric 1 to 6 denoting the regions below:
Then show your region on TV
1 = USA
2 = Europe
3 = Asia Pacific
4 = Australia, New Zealand, Latam
5 = Russia, India
6 = China
0 = Code Free
This is taken from the original service manual for the reciever

The best idea would be to get an audio interface, providing that your home theatre has an IN such as left and right phono. hese can be found for around 60 GBP. A chaeper alternative would be to buy and adapter which splits headphone to phono although an audio interface would allow you to send sound from you theatre in to your laptop as well.
