Question about SanDisk 2GB Cruzer Micro SDCZ62048A10 Hard Drive
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Your described problem indicate a possible hardware issue. There are only 4 terminals/pins ina SUB device. The two at extreme ends are for GND and B+5 while the two at the middle are for DAT+/-. For your particular concern, you would be interested with the two terminals/pins at the ends especially Pin#1 which is the Vcc (+5). You would need a continuity tester to determine if there is contact, meaning does the pin still connect to the electronics internally of the SanDisk 2GB Cruzer Micro. Of course the thumb/flash drive must be opened up to expose the PCB.
In most instances it would only be a cold solder or a loose connection and re-application of a soldering iron should do the trick. Might as well do cleaning of the 4 pins. A flattened cotton buds would do or better yet scrape the terminals a bit to remove corrosion.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.

I'm afraid that the scandisk might have become corrupted or the hardware inside has failed and that is why the computers are not registering or recognizing it.
If that is the case, the information inside the scandisk is gone, unless you can de-solder the memory IC from it and install it on another identical scandisk.
