Question about RCA HD52W59 HDTV Projection Television
I swear the TV is really makeing me mad. First it curved and the colors were missed up. So we replaced the fuse and it worked for a while. Then we lost the sound made sure things were hooked where they needed to be, seem to be doing okay. Then the power started kicking off and on before you knew it, it blew the fuse. Took the air compressor and aired it all out replaced the fuse and it seemed to work, day later it blew again. Only have one fuse left. Any ideas before I shot this piece of ****. This RCA TV is really a piece of **** if you ask me. FYI --- You have really been a lot of help.
Ok let see what we can do. These rca can be trouble. Im a technician and i see these alot. I guess that a good recomendation for these set LOL. First question. I take it you had the FL231 fuse problem... YOu replaced the fuse did you do the most important step. RESOLDER the flyback connections. i beleve that is step 7 in the instruction. this is the main reson this fuse blows. i have run into only one other case ...out of the hundreds of fuses i have replaced where the small signal cuircit board cause it to blow. but like i said very rare. i used to just put that fuse in and not resolder... it would come back to me within a day. LEt me know what happens
