Original radio I need to get my original radio/cassette out of my Nissan Pintara T 1991 model so that I can put a cd player/radio in. Can anyone help me? Has anyone got some intructions for me?
OK i just spent three hours with tha same problem really. i removed casing around steering column done by removing 4 screws on the underside. the bottom half of the dash is also done up by a series of screws remove these also. Once bottom half of dash is removed there will be clips holding head unit in push these in and head unit should slide straight out. :)

Factory Car Stereo Repair .... I have nissan maximal 05..the CD part turns on but the cd won't eject...should ... I have a 2005maxima non-bose radio system. ... my speakers is super in my 05 maxima but my cd player keeps on ...
The original radio is a BOSE system and it has a buit in amp. So if you replaced the deck you need to replace the speakers all so. Don't cut the wires to hook-up the deck buy an addapter KIT. It's not just the stereo that runs though that harness the factory alarm does all so and that will cause you problems. Anyway back to the stereo you need to add an amplifier and problem sovled.
the lens is not good that why it can't read the cd,the lens must be replaced, but it is better to buy a new car cd player,as if u change the lens ,it does not last for long
That's probably because of the fact that they didn't make enough of that model of cars that they would put it on their website. That's what I would say. Just google clutch for australian Nissan Pintara and see what happens.
To put the original back in just hope the harness behind the radio wasant cut into. If its not it should just plug right in and mount back up in the stock location.
as far as the cd changer. if you would want to add one. you would need to find the changer, harness and headunit from a model with one.
cd player uses the display above the radio on the later model, either take it to reanult garage or put a belson in like mine whic plays USB/SD card/ CD/radio ,it was about 90€ and trust me it brilliant no more cds in car ,just one sd chip 2 gb all my favourite tunez on one device
If you have the original owners manual that previous owner has written the code in you will not need to replace radio otherwise you will need to replace it.Some times the code can be written on the outer case of the radio but not usualy.Vehicle is too old for that code to have been retained by manufacturer/dealership.Without that four digit code therse very little you can do but replace.
