WHIRLPOOL SUPER CAPACITY 465 MODEL: SF368LEPQ GAS SMELL
MY WHIRLPOOL OVEN SMELLS GAS WHEN I USE THE BROIL OR BAKE.
THE SMELL IS SO STRONG THAT WE HAVE TO OPEN WINDOWS TO LET THE GAS GO OUT.
ANYBODY HAS HAD THIS ISSUE WITH THIS MODEL BEFORE OR ANY SUGGESTION ON RESOLVING IT WILL BE VERY MUSH APPRECIATED.

You may have several things going on f1 e4 is a control board issue with the touch panel plug in into the control board disconnect and reconnect if this problem presist will need a control board and touch pad for the oven not staying lit there is a new oven igniter kit 8190618 unfortunately no good diagnostics for this problem good luck
Hi! The F2 code means Oven Temperature Too High. When this code is present do the following: 1. Look for welded relay contacts on bake or broil relays. If this happens, replace oven control (also called clock or ERC). 2. For SELF CLEAN models: check door lock operation. 3. Look for a high resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Check sensor, sensor harness and sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Replace sensor if found defective.
Remember: Oven control (ERC) measures resistance of sensor circuit, not actual oven temperature.
A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.
Sounds like you need an bake element ignitor if the bake doesn't work but if the broil also doesn't work, it could be the electronic clock/timer control. the part number for the bake ignitor is 8054129 .Best off to call a reliable service company such as Sears.
I have a whirlpool accubake system / super capacity 465 oven ... the top burners do fine...but my oven pilot went out... and I don't know how to re-lite the pilot... the owners manual doesn't help ... it doesn't show anything a layman could understand ... no visual illustrations ... when I turn on the oven ... the display shows that it's been activated... it clicks a couple of times but does not light ... what is a simple way to re-light the pilot? thanks, A
In an attempt to self clean my oven, I pushed the auto clean button and then pressed start. Instead, nothing happened, but now have a message on the panel reading E1on the left side of panel and -F5- on the right side of panel. I am unable to clear it or operate the oven now.
