My video card stop working do i have to change the mother board? or i can ad external one?

you can add a card however you may also have a chipset issue problem which would give you the same symptoms. in which case a motherboard would be required. and this system would have to have a powersupply that meets the video cards needs. by default it is a 250Watt.. way too little for most cards so be aware.

Why do not restored disks work for Acer Aspire M1100?

Turn off the computer Henry then turn it back on and hold down the alt key and tap F10 and make sure you remove any disks from the CD drive.
It would appear that the hard drive is having boot sector issues.

Acer aspire m1100 desktop getting a no signal on monitor, how do I get my pc to open

My Acer Aspire M1100 would not boot and had no signal to the monitor. I thought the video card or motherboard had gone bad. I tinkered with it for over 2 years (yes I'm hardheaded) and finally realized the processor had worked itself loose. Reseated the processor and it works fine again. Hope this helps someone.

My computer acer m1100 no signal to monitor. what to do pls. help me.

Check the cable at both ends for a loose connection. Thats all sounds like it came loose. If you have a good connection at both ends than the computer video card is bad, but sounds like a loose connection.

How to upgrade acer aspire m1100 ram

It is actually pretty simple, just remove either screws or fasteners holding the case on. On that model it may even just be the side panel, which would be 2 screws/fasteners. Here is a video that explains the process. http://videos.howstuffworks.com/howstuffworks/26-how-to-install-ram-to-a-desktop-computer-video.htm Thanks,

Upgrade Acer Aspire m1100

Is you are going to do a complete overhaul, you are better off going with a ASUS motherboard, with a processor, and 4 GB of memory. Here is a good place to get all these parts and your computer will run REALLY great.

I am trying to install a wireless pci card onto my acer m1100 desktop. I've installed the software first (as suggested) and am now trying to install the actual pci in the slot, but am not sure which slot...

On the back of your computer, there should be a bunch of covered slots. When you take off the cover of your computer, you should be able to unscrew these slot covers and remove them. Taking one off will give you a slot to install your wireless card. You will want the main plug part of the card to fit into one of the three large slots on your motherboard, and the side with the antenna will screw into the slot that you removed the cover for.
