Can't send text messages

I can receive text messages but when I try to send it says "please wait" and times out. I have the latest updates.

    Yes, I have texting service. I have t-mobile. They double checked the texting phone# and it's correct.

    I tried the master reset when I called tmobile. That didn't solve the problem. I can try it again but it's asking for a security code. Motorola claims the phone was made for another country. I'm not sure why that matters or why it's worked for 3 months.

    I've tried the master reset without success. I did it while on the phone with tmobile. I can try it again if I can get the security code that it asks for.

    I contacted tmobile again and they cannot fix the problem. They say the settings are right because I can receive text messages, I just can't create them. They referred me to a repair service.

The exact problem on it is the PROGRAM,, the program if SMS controlled by the CPU of the cellphone are interrupt some program, all you have to do is go to the technician with the software of mobile  RE-programing unit, and tell them to reprogram your phone, because that problem is not on the hardware but on the software.. REPROGRAM it!!! regards JAN_yuanjia

HI there, Master reset wont fix your settings. Master reset clear to factory all phone settings, but do not affect message and internet provider settings.

You need to call Tmobile again and verify the SMS settings on your phone.

Go to Menu > Settings > Initial Setup, then scroll down to Master Reset.

and if asking for code enter 000000

Hi there,

Go to Menu > Settings > Initial Setup, then scroll down to Master Reset.

Then power off and power back on. Try sending a text now, and it should work.

And just to verify, you have text messaging service activated with your service provider? And who is your service provider?

    Try a master reset on your phone. This will put the settings back to factory defaults. This will ensure that there isn't a setting gone awry on your phone causing your issue.

Samsung GT-E1150i can't send text messages


I was told to remove the battery and SIM card, wait three minutes then power up the phone again. (Time and Date have to be reset) Unfortunately this did not solve the problem so it could be a Vodafone network problem. I am wary of trying the SIM in a different brand or model of phone in case of an unexpected reformat occurring, so until a duplicate phone arrives the job is on hold. In general one just cannot get the right staff these days. Take care!

Every time i try and send a text it says system error


Hi the problem you are having is with your message center number this is a common problem and usually happens after you have changed your sim card to another network all you need to do to solve this problem is call your service provider and tell them the make and model of phone you have then ask them for the correct message center number.
they wont charge for this and they will tell you how to set it up, you will also need to ask them to send you the latest wap and mms settings so you can use the net and send and receive picture messages. they wont charge for this either and they will send you these settings via txt message and this will then update your phone to the latest settings.

call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone , the one that you have might be incorrect...your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the text message options

Hello. Remove the battery from your phone and leave it unplugged. Wait two full minutes and return the battery. This will reset and restore your phone plus update it. now try sending a text and ask the recipient to text u back and acknowledge your text.

Can't send or receive PIC messages...


try rebooting your phone 2 to 3 times daily and deleting text and phone calls regularly. this may help your situation. rebooting is taking off battery waiting at least 15 seconds reinstalling battery and powering on... best bet is to delete items then reboot... your problem should go away. unless of course your messages are too large to be sent than that's a totally different issue

try contacting your network sim operator and ask them to send you the text / mms numbers settings to your phone sounds like they are missing this can cause texts and mms to not be sent recieved

Sending a text message on my pantech c150


First, be sure that you are signed up with your provider for send AND receive text messages.

Second, be sure that you are able to see the small "E" icon (or a similar one) beside your communication bars. Sometimes text messages won't send without this full connection.

If both of these are true, then I'm not sure what to tell you.
