Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

I have clicked on Live Chat twice, got an answer from some expert saying he was here to help me but I could never type anything on the page and after the first one went away, got a message asking if we were disconnected and another name there to help me but I again could not type a single word and the page went away and then there was a message saying my live chat was ended.  I either want a live chat page on which I can type what my problem is or I want my money back.

I got advice from RichardM69. Although I could not complete all the steps he told me to take, my printer suddently started printing everything that had been in its queue. I hope it will continue to work -- my fingers are crossed.

No sound when answering


Here is the link to free live chat with an expert at Panasonic. Scrll all the way to the bottom of the page and click "chat" in blue. Then type in the model number and request a chat. While you have the phone off the hook, we can try to adjust the volume of the ear piece. You may have that turned down too low. Try to press the up arrow to increase the receiver volume. If that does not work you can try to reset the phone, To reset the unit, unplug the power and phone line cord from the unit for 10 seconds then reconnect the unit to see what happens. Good luck.

How to earn/get money on/from fixya


In order to earn money on FixYa, you must become a Premium Expert. For information on how to apply, please view this Tip.

Once you have been approved as a Premium Expert, you will notice some changes on your My Expertisepage. First, there will be a banner regarding your preferred method of payment. Click on this banner and select how you would like to be paid. There will also be a module on the upper right of your My Expertise page called My Live Chat Status, as well as a link to your Account Statements.

Answering Chats
If you would like to do a Live Chat, where you assist the customer using an IM system, check the "Available" option on your My Live Chat Status module. Then, as long as you are on FixYa, you will receive a pop up to alert you to any available Chats in your Areas of Expertise. Please make sure you have enough time to do a Chat (up to an hour or more) and that you only assist one customer at a time.

Answering Premium Questions
Premiums can be found at the top of your My Expertise page with buttons marked $3, $4, and $6. Please view this Tip to see more info about Premiums.

Keeping track of your earnings

If your Premium Solution or Live Chat Assistance is "Accepted" by the customer, you will be credited the amount on the button (for Premiums) or between $6-$10 (for Live Chats). You can keep track of all the Premiums/Live Chats you have done by clicking on "Account Statements" (also referred to as your Ledger). One note about that- if something older than 7 days is still marked as Pending, then it has Auto Closed and another Expert received credit.

Getting paid
At the end of each month, FixYa audits Experts' accounts. If you have earned $50 or more, your account begins processing. For more info about FixYa's payment policies and schedule, please view the Experts' FAQ section on payments.

Magic customer service


On your computer go to magicjack.com . Near the top of the webpage there's a black bar with the word "magicJack". To the right of that word locate and click on "Support". A new page opens. You should see "Get live help in seconds" and below that "Please click here". So click on "Please click here". A new page opens. On this new page click on the orange colored "Click here". A new page opens. In the little search bar type " magicjack reverts to old number" and click on "Seach". A moment later you should see a box that says "I'm online - Start chat". Click on that and a chat window opens. In the chat window type your name and your email address and click to select your preferred language (English or Spanish). Then click on "Start chat" near the bottom of the chat window. Then wait for a customer service person to type a "hello" message to you, and describe your problem as clearly as possible to them.

How do you open a chat with someone on fixya?


To get a chat on fixya, you need to click on one of the LIVE CHAT NOW banners on the right of this page for example, or then go to the front page of fixya (www.fixya.com) Write in your problem and check the checkbox for immediate assistance.

Then select the one time assistance.
click get assistance
Select Live chat, 19.99.

Fill in your credit card details etc.

Live chat will begin shortly after.

Do i have to pay to ask my question

You do not have to pay to ask a question on FixYa unless you want to purchase Premium Assistance (fast answers from our top Experts) or Live Chat (immediate interaction with one of our top Experts).
