Remove the 2 screws at the rear of the dryer where the top cover is , and simply push to the rear.
It's that simple.

I keep getting error code F-14 on Hotpoint condenser dryer model CTD85

Hi.

F14 means that control board does not sense that machine is heating:

F14 - A fault with the water heating has occurred

When you get F14 the fault is usually either the thermistor or the heating element (electric dryer). Both parts are tested removing the part from the dryer and reading impedance at the part contact. If the part returns infinity, then the part is defective. If you need to contact a qualified technician use the phone number listed on your owners manual or check Hotpoint website.

Regards.

Hi, my hotpoint wdm73 washer dryer keeps tripping

Remove the top cover, and unplug the motor, and try again, if it still trips, then disconnect the heater element.
If it still trips, then I recommend you all an engineer.

Where do I find the heating element in my hotpoint dryer

Heating element is behind the drum. Disconnect power. Use putty knife to release 2 spring clips holding top at front edge of dryer. Swing top back. Remove two screws holding dryer front to sides near open top. Swing dryer front to the side. (you don't have to disconnect the door switch wires) Remove plastic tub block at top center of opening. Release belt. Pull up on back of drum, then pull drum out through the open front of dryer.

Taking the back panel off of a hotpoint dryer

Depends on how old it is. The old ones have an obvious panel and screws at the bottom. If you don't see this, then your dryer is access from the front. Open the door, there should be 2 or 4 screws holding the top to the front. Take those screws out and the top will lift up giving you access to inside.

Hotpoint Aquarius Condensor Dryer not getting Hot

I don't know Hotpoint models but I do know Malber models very well which also have a condensing dryer. The dryer has a fan and a heating coil or heating element, similar to a hair dryer. If you are getting no air flow, then it could be the fan. If you are getting air flow but it is not hot, then it is probably the heating element which burnt out. In the Malber machine, the top cover comes off and you can see an aluminum duct on top with two terminals sticking out the side. These two terminals go to the heating element inside the duct, and the heater element is like the heating element in an oven. You have to remove the duct and then it splits into a top and bottom half, and then you can remove the heating element to replace it. The way to tell if it is bad is to run the machine in a dry cycle and see if there is 110 volts across the heating element terminals. If there is power, but no heat, then the heating element is bad. That element is usually the first thing to fail.
