Need to reset my PC to the original factory settings

I lost my audio about 8 months ago and also I let everyone (fam and friends) use my PC and they saved all kind of **** in it and I don't know what to keep or what to delete and the result is my PC is kinda full and slow, that's why I need to start from scratch and have a second account for everybody else where they can't download or upload nothing without my permission. Thanks for any info!

ps...I tried many things but nothing work so far, I did tried the PC Retore in WindowsXP or media center, still nothing! :(

If your computer is running in windows xp you can try this.
as soon as you turn on the computer press and hold the ctrl key then keep tapping the F11 key. it will direct you to Dell PC Restore. then follow the onscreen instructions.
if your computer is running in windows vista you can try this.
as soon as you turn on the computer, keep tapping F8, then select repair computer. then click next on the following window. select your user name, then enter your password. your computer will boot on windows recovery environment. at the bottom of the list you will have Dell Factory Image Restore. select that, then follow the onscreen instructions.

You will need to insert the Windows disk that came from Dell and reboot the system, follow the on screen instructions. If you do not have a disk, you will have to look for a dell recovery option within windows.
Good Luck!

Unable to open bios on e-machine to change logging order

Boy everyone needs to be more specific on their questions! If you mean you want to get into the BIOS but cannot because you forgot the password, I have never seen any program that will retrieve it for any computer. But not all is lost, you can reset it to factory defaults if your comfortable with electronics, you can open your computer and remove the CMOS BIOS battery and leave it out for 15 minutes (some computers will need a little more or a little less time but 15 minutes will usually be long enough for most of them) Replace the battery and close your computer. You should now have the original factory settings for your computer and the password should be gone.
NOTE: only do this if you know how you had all of the other settings, because it will revert to original factory settings and all BIOS modifications you had done will also be lost as well! Also removing the CMOS BIOS battery is not something that could be done by anyone, you must have a good understanding of electronics to properly do this action.

How do i rest my dell computer to factory settings

Resetting a consumer desktop/laptop to factory settings is fairly straight-forward. Follow the steps below to reinstall the OS and drivers.
Before beginning, here are the items you will need:
A. Computer/laptop B. Microsoft Windows OS CD/DVD
1. Power on your computer. 2. Insert the Windows OS CD/DVD in to the optical drive. 3. Restart the computer and boot from the CD/DVD when prompted. 4. Follow the installation prompts to complete the install. 5. Once completed, eject the CD/DVD and perform a Windows Update to update the system and any drivers you may be missing.

Can document files be recovered after factory reset

Not at this point. Any hope of recovering files after an accidental reformat needs to happen immediately. After the computer has been used again for any length of time, most of the hard disk has been overwritten and there is little to no hope of getting back any older files from before the format. Sorry!!

I need to know how to download microsoft

I assume what you mean is that you reset the pc back to factory default. If you do not have the original install disks for your software you are in trouble.

Need to reset factory nec powermate as daughter has forgotten password as admin

You can reset by downloading a password restore iso file and creating a bootable CD from this if you have a CD writer on another computer. Otherwise check the NEC website on how to restore the original factory image (but you will lose all installed programs and user files).

Or use a friends PC to make a bootable floppy or CD.

http://www.loginrecovery.com you can make a bootable floppy disk or CD from this site.
