Putting inside back together

I took the inside apart piece by piece to see if I had a clog. Found the mechanism was not rotating between the motor and tub. I think I found the problem but now it doesn't seem to be going back together correctly. Do you know the order the parts go in? The main one I'm having an issue with is round about 2" in diameter. It is flat on one side and has teeth on the other. Where exactly does it go and does it go teeth up or down?

I found the company website. There is a section on parts. In this section it gave you a schematic diagram of the inside. Very easy to put back together with a picture!!!

You did great with the assembly, however, you're off on the alignment. Try to adjust to pull the axle in the opposite direction to clear the cage.

How to put a rotozip rz10 back together

Hardest part is getting the trigger mechanism back in the right position while putting the screws in place. Everything has a slot/groove it fits into before both outside covers can be put together. One side will be easier to hold the pieces while the other simply covers them. A spot of glue (elmers) may help to hold trigger in place and the wires.

Drum stopped spinning. I took apart and took out the broken belt. Not positive if thats the only problem. I found a one inch in diameter plastic piece that seems to be broken, also. Not sure how to put it...

The plastic piece maybe the pulley on the end of the motor. Check the motor for a drive pulley it will have grooves in it for the belt. Since you are in there check the idler pulley for ware, the drum support pulleys in the back for ware, and see if you have any glide pads for the front of the drum. When you put it together put the belt around the drum before you put it in. Before you secure the front of the drum put the idler pulley on the belt. As long as you do not end up with extra screws you got it back together right.

I took out the inner workings of the bobbin holder underneath the machine to try to clean out some clogged up thread, but I can't seem to get it back together. Suggestions?

You should have 3 pieces that make up the parts of the hook and bobbin case that you can take out to clean. 1 the bobbin case, 2 the race ring, 3 the hook. The easiest way to reinstall the hook and race ring is to tilt the machine and lay it on it's back. If you have the bobbin door open, and you rotate the handwheel and look inside the hook area, you will see the driver rotating back and forth. You want to set the hook inside the hook housing facing opposite the driver. As if your putting two halves together. Next install the race ring, shinny side out. Most of the rings have a nipple at the bottom that fits into a slot in the hook housing. Next lock the race ring in place with the 2 black or chrome arms that you swing inward. All you do next is install the bobbin case. Your done.

You'll need to replace the regulator or window mech ,that is broken,or you'll be back inside the door again. The jb will eventually let go. You now need to take the other side off ,to see how it all goes together.

Reset button or Fuse on my Infinity?

Ok, I took it apart, cleared the clog out, and put it back together. It wouldn't switch to "carpet". Got no answer on my question. Took it apart again, only I went further. Took apart the bottom - brush out, all inside bottom parts out, cleaned all that part of vac. No clogs down there. Ran the carpet/bare floor switch back and forth several times while I had it apart. Put it all back together and it worked fine. Still didn't find a fuse or reset button...

Ecofan only turns slowly

These fans can be rebuilt! Like many others, our fan died after being placed in the center of the stove top. I took the two halves of the fan body apart, and scraped the heat sink compound off either side of the power plate. I then applied CPU heat sink compound that can be found at any computer or electronics store liberally to either side, and put it back together. The fan spins like new, spread the word!
