Intermatic model HB65R has two buttons, TIME and MODE and a digital display.
Instructions:
1. Plug in the timer, which self-tests. If error, EE flashes.
If normal, 88 flashes for 3 seconds, then display shows C and you can proceed to set the timer.
2. Push the TIME button to set C (current time). The display shows AM hours as 1 to 12 and PM hours as 1. to 12. (Example: for 7 AM push the TIME button until the display shows "7" for 7 PM push the TIME button until the display shows "7."
3. Now push and hold down the MODE button until the display shows P for the "ON time."
4. Push the TIME button to set the hour to turn ON, from AM 1 to 12 or PM 1. to 12.
5. Push and hold down the MODE button until the display reads E for "END time" (time you want the power OFF)
6. Push the TIME button repeatedly to set the end time hour from AM 1 to 12 or PM 1. to 12. The end time (time power will go off) will display.
7. Press the MODE button to toggle between ON and the current time.

If you unplug the timer you will have to reset the C (current time), P (ON time) and E (END or OFF time).

Whirlpool quiet partner iv. Turn breaker off then on. Displays 4H then goes off few mins later. Press the cancel button and then the POTS AND PANS along with NORMAL buttons start flashing back and forth.

this is not from me but i found it and am passing on..
Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error code 4h means 4 hour delay start which means that the dishwasher is in delay start mode and has been set to 4 hours. You can either wait for 4 hrs or to start it immediately press the cancel button to cancel the delay start option. After this program the cycle and options and press Start again as the dishwasher will not start the wash until it reaches the delayed hour i.e. till 4hrs. If after 4 hrs still the light blinks and it wont start then you'll have to replace the control panel. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

I am trying to program a Westinghouse yard stake. It's a model 28006, hinge top, 6 outlet digital photo cell. Please help if you can.

1) Copy following link to help identify same-similar timer and download possible manual
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#outdoor

2) On-line search shows dawn-dusk timer which can be set to turn off 1-9 hours after dusk.
Typical operation is to push button until 6 displays, then timer turns ON at dusk and OFF 6 hours later

3) Describe timer with more detail so expert can exactly identify timer functions and find same-similar manual.

I can set the date & time and sunrise and sunset; however, the instructions to program are obscure to me. I want it to come on at dusk and go off at a set time.

1) Question posted under ST01C
Open following link for ST01C instructions with programming illustrations, plus wiring illustrations and battery information.
http://waterheatertimer.org/ST01C-program.html

2) The ST01C cannot be set for on-at-dusk and off-at-programmed-time.

3) If you have different timer than shown above, then add a comment with description of timer buttons for possible identification.

4) I have not tested the following timer, and it may be same as all other in-wall timers, but it is possible that the new GE 15312 sun-smart timer can be set for on-at-dusk and off-at-programmed-time. BUT I am only reading the instruction manual for a new product, before people write the company and then the manual gets changed.
Wiring for this timer is more complicated that ST01C

Outdoor lights timer: Intermatic HB851 photo timer with dial. How do I set it for dusk ON then off in 8 hrs.

Intermatic make HB51 timer.

If this is not your timer, then add a comment.
To set for ON at dusk, and off 8 hours later, rotate dial to the number 8.
Timer turns on automatically at dusk.
Timer set to 8 hours will start countdown when timer turns ON > and 8 hours later timer will turn off.

Make sure timer is turned away from lights so photo-eye doesn't receive feedback.
Feedback is when the photo eye gets too much light, and then timer thinks it's dawn, so lights turn off, and a moment later photo eye thinks it's dusk again and lights turn on again.
Feedback from lights will cause timer to reset the 8 hour countdown.
A car pulling in the driveway can cause feedback.
If the timer resets because of feedback, it begins the 8 hour countdown again, so the lights will not turn off until dawn.

You can test timer by putting black tape over photo eye, and then timer will turn on.
Set timer for 2 hours for example and then check if timer turned off 2 hours later.

If timer is not functioning correctly, then timer is defective.

How do I get it to start at dusk and run for 4 hours

You posted under Intermatic make HB51 timer.

If this is not your timer, then add a comment.

To set for ON at dusk, and off 4 hours later, rotate dial to the number 4.
Timer turns on automatically at dusk because timer has photo eye.
Timer set to 4 hours will start countdown when timer turns ON > and 4 hours later timer will turn off.

Make sure timer is turned away from lights so photo-eye doesn't receive feedback.
Feedback is when the photo eye gets too much light, and then timer thinks it's dawn, so lights turn off, and a moment later photo eye thinks it's dusk again and lights turn on.
Feedback from lights will cause timer to reset the 4 hour countdown.
A car pulling in driveway can cause feedback.
If timer resets because of feedback, it begins 4 hour countdown again, so lights will not turn off until much later than planned, or not turn off until dusk.

You can test timer by putting black tape over photo eye, and then timer will turn on.
Set timer for 2 hours for example and then check if timer turned off 2 hours later.

If timer is not functioning correctly, then timer is defective.

I need instructions for my Intermatic hb65r residual outdoor timer

Since I specialize in timers, I offered to help for free on previous posts, but nobody looking for HB65 instructions has provided the information I need.

If you don't want me to work on your answer for free, fixya has specialists who answer questions for a fee. And they might have just the answer you need.

Here' my free offer again.

http://www.intermatic.com/customer%20service/instruction%20manuals.aspx
Intermatic no longer shows HB65 manual.

HB series is weatherproof plug-in type timer.

Add a comment and give me information, I can possibly piece together a solution from current timer manuals.
Say exactly what buttons are on timer.
Say what you can remember of timer operation.
Say if timer has a digital display or a dial.
Say if timer is dusk-to-dawn: so it turns ON at dusk and then if it turns off 2-4-6-8 hours later.
Say if timer has photo-control.
Say if timer is battery-operated.
