How do I change fm frequency on my xmroadyxt radio modulator? I had it working in Texas, but am now driving in Florida and cannot get reception. I found website that gives best stations to use, but cannot figure how to change frequency setting on my radio. Pls walk me through each step.

If you're having trouble scanning FM radio stations on your Pyle PBMSPG190, there are a few things you can try:
- Check your antenna: Make sure your FM antenna is properly connected to your radio and is positioned in a location with good reception. If your antenna is damaged, you may need to replace it. - Check the FM frequency range: Make sure that the FM frequency range of your radio is set correctly for your location. In some cases, FM frequencies may differ depending on your country or region. - Check for interference: Electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, or other nearby radios may cause interference with your radio's ability to pick up FM stations. Try turning off nearby electronics or moving your radio to a different location to see if this improves reception. - Manually tune to specific frequencies: If the automatic scan is not working, try manually tuning your radio to specific FM frequencies to see if you can pick up any stations.
If none of these steps work, it's possible that there may be a problem with the radio's internal components. In that case, you may want to contact Pyle customer support for further assistance.

What's the make & model of the radio?
Most DAB/FM radios work from the same antenna, so if you receive FM stations, you should receive DAB stations in your area.
It should be noted that DAB transmitters work on lower power than conventional FM transmitters, and so you may be in a weak reception area (for DAB). It should also be noted that DAB uses different frequencies than regular FM stations and household appliances such as laptops,WiFi, microwave ovens, etc can affect DAb reception.
I use a wired fm modulator that the fm antenna passes through. When the sirius radio is on it blocks the regular fm signal preventing local signals from interferring. Do a search for wired fm modulator and you should find one. Mine actually fit inside the dash on my pickup.
FM is just a form of modulation, not an actual frequency. The frequency doesn't change between any of the modes (LSB, USB, AM, FM, CW).
For example, if you are on channel 19 (27.185MHz) on AM (Amplitude Modulation,) switching to FM (Frequency Modulation) mode you would still be at 27.185MHz, but using a different form of modulation.
It may be possible that the FM frequency chosen during setup, is in use in your area by a strong signal from a local station. Change to another frequency and see if the situation improves.
The following is from the Operation's Manual:
FM Modulator Setting
You can adjust FM Modulator frequency and output level.
7 Frequency
If output from the FM Modulator is hard to hear due to interference from a strong broadcast
station transmission, you can switch to another frequency.
You can adjust frequency between 87.9 and 90.1MHz.
7 Level
If the output sound is too quiet, too loud or distorted, you can adjust FM Modulator output
level.
You can adjust level between “LEVEL–1” and “LEVEL–7”. 1. Press the POWER button for 2 seconds to enter the FM Modulator Setting mode.
2. Select the desired frequency with the left/right arrowbuttons.
3. Increase or decrease the Level with the up/down arrows (buttons).
4. To cancel the FM Modulator Setting mode, press the POWER button again for 2 seconds. Note:
• After entering the FM Modulator Setting mode, if you do not perform an operation within about 8 seconds, the FM Modulator Setting is automatically canceled.
FM radio works the same way that AM radio works. The difference is in how the carrier wave is modulated, or altered. With AM radio, the amplitude, or overall strength, of the signal is varied to incorporate the sound information. With FM, the frequency (the number of times each second that the current changes direction) of the carrier signal is varied.
FM signals have a great advantage over AM signals. Both signals are susceptible to slight changes in amplitude. With an AM broadcast, these changes result in static. With an FM broadcast, slight changes in amplitude don't matter -- since the audio signal is conveyed through changes in frequency, the FM receiver can just ignore changes in amplitude. The result: no static at all.

Good luck!
