How can i talk free using internet

You will want to use a VoIP (Voice Over IP) services or application.
  • Skype is the most mainstream (free) version. It allows instant messaging, video chat, as well as the ability to do voice only (i.e. making a "call"). If you want to make calls to an actual phone, you will have to purchase some credit but it is reasonably cheap. ( www.skype.com/)
  • Google's Gmail has integrated video chat
  • Google Talk also supports VoIP

I wish to regularly have voice video talk with family members every day

Go to www.filehippo.com and download Skype. Install it and setup up a Skype account. Assuming you (and they) have broadband Internet access, you can have voice and video communications with any family members who also have a Skype account and Skype installed on their PC for Free. I use Skype frequently and it has good voice, but slows down a bit when using the video; but then my DSL is not the fastest.
