I have a endless summer propane patio heater that hasn't been used in over a year. Self ignition has fresh battery, full tank of propane, cannot get the pilot to light. I know spider webs can effect port for pilot...is there any liquid spray that might assist cleaning off corrosion?? Joe

I received a reply regarding an endless summer patio heater that hadn't been used in a year. Ignitor works, but pilot won't come on. I received a reply that there are a number of liquid sprays which might solve the problem, but no reference to any particular product.

Should be attached to manifold /lines from propane tanks. When propane tanks are on, it should be getting propane unless someone added a shut-off in line to it.

Can the paramount patio heater be used inside the house in the winter if you don't leave it on when you leave the room

If it is gas absolutely not! Not familiar with this particular unit but if it is a patio heater it tells me it is kerosene or gas. Here is the thing with either one. You have to have a constant fresh air supply to get complete combustion. When you don't get complete combustion you get lots of carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide will kill you!
Hope this helps

We have a Sunjoy table top patio heater without the propane tank that fits inside. The heater number is L-PH007PSS-B. Where can we order a replacement tank from? Thank you. Pat

Pat, the model you have uses a 1 Lb tank, that can purchased at any hardware store or home center. It's the same size tank that Coleman stoves use. They run anywhere for $4,00 -$6.00.Unfortunately, you can't order full tanks, because of Hazmat issues in shipping to you.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know.

Hello Geno, This is The Human Touch again. I want first of all the thank you for your recommendation of purchasing a hot water tank. We will do so when our tankless goes to Heaven! We live in sunny,...

This in NOT Geno--

But I wonder if you ever thought of using a small Electric Hot Water heater?
Then when you shut that off-- you know it is not using ANY ENERGY!

As for cleaning the calcium from your instantaneous heater-- have you ever considered circulating an acid, or some Iron-out thru it, to remove minerals?-- Jut a thought-- You need a pump, and a bucket, and protective gear, to keep the acid out of your eyes, and off your clothing and hands, etc.-- One of those little flexible rubber impellar pumps works great!--- just don't run it dry!

Just a thought-- Sorry to stick my nose in, if you wanted only Geno to answer--

If you want him to answer you directly-- just send a reply to his last not e to you-- and it will show up in his 'IN' box.
Keep Cool!

I have 2 Superser heaters. The newer one ignites at the 2nd or 3rd push of the plunger. However, the older one is a real pain. Some years ago after a summer of inactivity, it failed to ignite so I took...

The first thing I would do is make sure that ignitor is in the proper placement. Compare it to your other one. You can carefully clean ignitor and pilot assembly. Check to see that you have a good strong spark when you push plunger. If not you probably need to replace the ignitor. One thing you can do is to hold pilot control down like usual and light with a match. You can check but a lot of these units use a spark ignitor like they use on propane grills, about $15.00 in most hardware stores. Hope this helps you. Thanks

If this unit has a spark ignition you may just need to clean the flame sensor. It is a metal rod protruding in the path of the flame.

ES 160000 Endless Summer Patio heater won't stay lit

Bad thermocouple that senses the heat from the pilot light. This would be evident if you lite the pilot while holding the button down for about 30 seconds. If the pilot goes out as you release the button on the gas valve replace the thermocouple.
