Question about Canon MultiPASS F50 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Having trouble repairing/removing software...

It keeps coming up with error messages and doesn't allow me to either repair or uninstall the software.

    I'll get back into trying to repair/uninstall shortly and find out the exact details of the error message, and yes I've tried safe mode for the uninstall. The basic context of the error message is that the comp can't find some .dll file in order to continue.

    Might be some corruption or it didn't quite finish the install / uninstall.

    Download and run CCleaner to remove any dead registry entries. and try again.

    What are the error messages?

    Have you tried booting to safe-mode and trying the uninstall?
    Reboot and keep pressing F8 to get into safe-mode.

If it does not uninstall, delete the program file,and clean out the
registry,if you don't know how,get registry mechanic,it is the best for people who don't know what there doing. Once this is done you can reinstall, if the program folder will not delete try in safe mode to delete. Now check the MFG website to make your software drivers
are made for the OS your running,,XP,vista, if your running vista and the soft is for xp, just go to programs in the control folder and there is
a compatibility program for xp software to run on vista.

Hi Joe,

1. Turn off the all-in-one printer and, if connected via USB, remove the USB 2.0 cable.
2. Remove KODAK AiO Home Center Software from your computer.
NOTE: Select Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
3.Reinstall the latest software for your printer.
L ocate and select the software download for your printer.
Follow the instructions to install the software.
4. Reconnect the USB cable when prompted during the installation.

Why doesn't my printer communicate with m,y computer?


Try uninstalling and reinstalling or doing a repair. Make sure you have your install cd handy. You can uninstall or repair by going to control panel > hardware and sound > devices and printers. Then right click on the printer and either troubleshoot or remove the printer all together.

Scanner grinds when powers on


Its not drivers issue, hard ware issue.. Scanner assm faulty,replace it..For tech guys:Open flat bed glass, remove scanner assm clean inside reflector glass with ear buds & adf glass especially at home position.. lubricate on rail refix it back.. check it..

or you can try this option Solution#1- If your printer does not show in your hardware list its means that problem belongs to data cable. Kindly check your printer's data cable and plug it properly.
Solution#2- Uninstall printer's software take a reboot and then reinstall its software and then attach your printer or during installation if installation requires.

Dear Mark, You do not need to upgrade driver but you should reset your data cable even it is parallel. After pluged again you should take a reboot and then try to print again.

Keep getting replace yellow ink cartridge error message


Hi,

Where did you get the error message on printer or computer?

If you get the message on printer remove all cartridges and reinsert the cartridges and align the ink cartridges. If the alignment page prints successfully then the problem is resolved.

If you get the message on the computer disconnect the usb from computer. uninstall the software and reinstall the full feature software by selecting connect USB later.

I am trying to uninstall a defective printer,so I can install its replacement. I have it disconnected but the uninstall mode won't let me do it. It keeps saying that it is printing and to wait till it...


your printer services ( the printer spooler ) for your computer is stuck trying to print the document.

Reboot the computer and this should clear the error. If that does not work, you need to go to administrative tools, in the control panel, and select "services". scroll down the list until you get to "print spooler". right click on it and then "stop". Then right click on it and "start" or "restart".

This should allow you to then remove the old printer.

Sounds like you need a new formatter board, you could verify this by swapping it with the good printer

Remove usb cable, Unistall software and drivers, reinstall software and driver and connect only when software prompts to do so.
