I have a pioneer car stereo model #qxa3196 and i wanted to know if it is compatible with an ipod. I was told it would work with the adapter throught the aux setting

QXA3196 is the part number for the remote. According to the Pioneer website, that remote was distributed with the DEH-1200MP, but may be compatible with many other models.

This unit has an AUX input and will accept audio from any device with a 3.5mm stereo connection, including the iPod.

Pioneer AVIC-n1 touch screen display failure

when those screens go out you are better of replacing the unit. they cost more to repair then buying a new one. also with pioneer they seem to only last 5 to 6 yrs. so if yours is a 2004 then it is about time for it to start to have problems and time to buy a knew. it seems with pioneer they only lasts 6 yrs max and then you have to replace them but other brands like solny they last a lot longer.

On my pioneer DEH-50UB the error message 'ERROR 19' is constantly appearing, this is addressed in the mannual however it merley advices you to restart the unit. obviously this is not satisfactory when it...

Hi,

To my knowledge, ERROR 19 on a Pioneer DEH series indicates failure on the USB connection. This is usually reserve for an iPod direct connection. If you are using such a device, pls:
  • check the Pioneer CD-IU50 USB Interface Cable;
  • reset the iPod;
  • disconnect the iPod and try again;
  • reset the Pioneer by removing the yellow and red connections. Pls note that some versions would require a security code when reconnected. Pls have this ready if and when your particular unit has a security/anti-theft feature;
  • reference page 32 of the manual.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Just installed kdc W3537 but cant figure out how to make it work with aux lead?

I've had the same problem myself but just fixed,firstly you take your instuction manual to a well ventilated area and set fire to it.Second you put your stereo in stand-by,then press and hold the menu button,and beep on or off will be displayed.Third you move the control stick situated on the right up or down until aux is displayed then just move stick left or right and it will show ...aux off...aux 1...aux 2.Choose aux 1 and away you go
