Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
Im having trouble with my v3 when my friend tries to send me something through bluetooth i can send him stuff but he cant send me stuff and my friends phone is a motorola but a older model and his blue tooth is longer range in one spot say he could find 13 people but my phone only finds 1 or two can u help me plzzz and the blue thing in the corner dosent turn on even though my bluetooth is on
Here is how you work bluetooth file transfers. You both need to put your phones in a discoverable mode. Then you both look for new devices in your bluetooth sections. once you find eachothers phones you need your security passwords to link the two phones together. ONce connected you should go and set you connection status to automatic. Then simply find the files you want to transfer then send it through the bluetooth and everything should work. for anymore help I need the Exact Model of both the phones.

Hi i have a similar problem with my v3 and phoned vodaphone yesterday, they said on the newest motorola they have changed the software in phone not to accept all bluetooth signals from other phones as you can receive viruses throu your bluetooth. it is a real pain cause my old v3 had no problems and i only just had it replaced because had trouble with the screen. they also said samsung phones are much the same on accepting blue tooth from other phones? hope this helps

Ok so your phone detects other people's phone in a limited range of area around you through your bluetooth, although your range doesn't really matter. So when you send your freind something through bluetooth does your light in the corner light up?, is your friends phone detectting your phone so it will reciecve what your sending through blue tooth, otherwise I'm not sure.
