Question about Home Security

Inop 14" B&W CCTV monitor

Monitor made in China for ADT used by Lorex for 4-camera security system. Power supply inop. Has three outputs: one for TV chassis, one for the cameras and the third for another pcb I have not studied yet. Data on the plate is: Model HD14Q2144-A serial Q0305-0150B. 100-240 v, 50-60 Hz. Power supply pcb has: HGF-SF33.PCB.B, 2003-02-12, SF7.320.141B.
I am sure the problem is in the power supply since none of the outputs show any voltage at all no-load.

The situation here is the company is so tight they will not approve a purchase replacement. So, if we want the system to work we gotta fix it! That means I am back to the schematic and reference voltages.

You are correct. The power supply (trace) is a very high voltage device. If it goes out, you will receive no power anywhere in the unit. It will most likely be cheaper just to replace the monitor.

Where can Ifind help for installing a Ouku brand 4 channel cctv dvr?

I had exact same problem and it took forever to fix but I did fix it. If I plugged the camera into the tv it worked but when I tried going through the dvr no picture at all. The problem was the power supply cord to the cameras. It was bad, I happen to have another one and that was it. All cameras working!

Channel 3/Camera 3 not displaying properly

try swapping the cam inputs first to rule out the unit, if not the camera may be faulty or needs setting up properly with a focus adapter, or the lens could need setting up!
when CCTV company's set up these systems they have all the equipment to plug in and focus auomatically etc..
Hope this helps!
Try looking at www.digitalvideos.co.uk (test equipment) section.

Getting my samtron to work on my cctv

Not all DVRs have WORKING VGA output. I used to work for Nuvico, and we had 2 different versions for DVRs. Ones with VGA connection. The other with non-working VGA connection. VGA port itself does not guarantee. Some DVRs also have DIP switch in the back. You can simply toggle between composite or VGA output. Ones with DIP switches often require reboot, and from my experience these do not work well with VGA monitors. Also... Make sure VGA monitor support low resolution. Stand-alone DVRs' native resolution is either 600 or 800 horizontal lines.
It will help alot if I know the model of DVR/CCTV
