Please check the network signal strength in your area or use your SIM with another phone. If this works then the SIM is in order and the phone has issues. Remove the battery and reset, then restart to see if there is network detection or there are issues in the hardware section and best be checked with a service center.

Mine does the same. A technician has advised me it's a flexi error.Yet if you want, you can do what I usually do lol...Slide your thumb progressively over button 3,then 2, then 1, then 4, then 7, down to *. Do this continuously and it should work after a few tries.
