Usually you just put the memory stick in the back of the computer in a usb drive, wait for it to load up , then you have multiple  options.
First you can go into word and save it directly to the jump drive... this is doe by selection "my Computer on the sleft side of the save prmpt then finding the jump drive.
Second you can save the file to a known location like the desktop then right click the file and click "send to" and findyour jumpdrive it should be at the bottom.
Or if it is already saved to a specific location, like "My Documents" just right click your start button, clcik "explore" then on the left pannel got to the location it is in and click it, then on the right pannel find your file and copy it "right click then copy", then on the left pannel find your jumpdrive and click it then on the right panel right click and hit paste.
hope this helps.

Need windows xp start up disc

The disc should have came with your computer.

If you can't find it, perhaps you have a friend who has a Windows XP disc you could borrow to retrieve the needed file from it which your computer is requesting?

This symptom could be a sign of the hard drive starting to go bad or at best, Windows has just had a small problem.

Try going into Safe Mode. If you can go in to Safe Mode, the problem might "correct itself."

To do that, after first turning the computer on, and before Windows begins to start, press the F8 key multiple times, until you receive the Safe Mode menu.

See this Microsoft article for more info about how to use Safe Mode:

Not able to install ethernet drivers for hp 530 cmt desktop pc. operating system is XP SP2

First of all, download and install SP3 for XP onto a memory stick from another pc if yours is not able to go on the internet, from the microsoft website here :

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=5b33b5a8-5e76-401f-be08-1e1555d4f3d4&displaylang=en

after that, try again if necessary to install the drivers. If it still fails you don't have the right drivers for your device and you need to manually look for the device type and model nr on the card itself and download them from the manufacturers website. Good Luck !

Problems with acer aspire revo

Linux OS is very different than windows or Mac OS. Mostly it is made for developers or people very familiar with it. It will not do same stuff as you used to see like plugging in memory stick or a download. You are probably better off by getting a windows OS ie.. windows 7 which is newest, Vista or Windows XP which so far is the most stable.

What kind of hard drive are you using. Are you using a SATA hard drive? If so you have to install the SATA drivers for the hard drive so that the Windows XP Pro can detect it.
