The unit is getting too much air through it. Take the cover off, reduce the pitch of the fan blades (about half ) evenly. put the cover back on. problem fixed.

Take reading on the air pump. Is sounds like the pressure is low, therefore not sucking fuel. It's a place to start, anyway.
How to check the pump pressure

Reddy heater pro 110

check that power is getting to the transformer, if so test the transformer for continuity. if it is good look for a short in the high voltage(spark plug) wire, and that one side of the secondary is connected firmly to the chassis of the heater. if no power to the transformer then trace the wiring to find the defect.

How do u bypass photo cell on r110 readyheater

The R110 is a heater using the older spark plug technology. In other words- no computer on board. This test will not work on heaters using the new Hot Surface technology.

Disclaimer- bypass the photocell for test purposes only. The photocell is there to prevent filling your shop with raw fuel in the event that there is a flameout.

To bypass connect a jumper wire between the 2 spades where the photocell normally connect.

Ready heater r110 I have replaced nozzle, filers all, cleaned sensor, runs some times for 30 sec shuts down

The R110 is a spark plug heater, as you know. It does not have the sophisticated electronics that the newer heaters have.

My guess: SP heater runs 30 seconds & shuts down- bypassphotocell. If it runs fine, then the photocell is defective. The test is simpleIf the photocell proves to be good follow these troubleshooting tips

Depending on how old your heater is, you may bay be able to download the Owners Manual from the Reddy Heater Home Page website. Reddy Heater was made by DESA International (now out of business). Another company bought the Reddy Heater part of the business, so they are still being manufactured.

I have a Reddy Heater Model R110. It has operated great until it ran out of fuel. I filled it up and now it will not ignite. It is pumping fuel as fuel is running out the front of it. I cannot find my...

remove the cover and check for spark at plug when plugged in if no spark check spark plug gor proper gap, or defective transformer electronic ignitor if you see spark check for proper pump pressure and restricted fuel flow due to seal leak, filter blocked and restriction in nozzle. I would check for defective photocell first for soot/dirt if dirty wipe with clean damp cloth remove photocell from heater and connect ohmeter on the 1000 ohl (rx1k) scale. Hold the lens up to a light source (60 wtt bulb, with the lens of the photocell pointed towards the source the resistance of the meter should be low by clocking off the light source by putting thumb over opening of cell the resistance on meter should be high, replace photo cell if a change in resistance is not observed during this test, let me know if you need more assistance
