Question about Acer Aspire 4720 Notebook
Audio driver intall failure
Usually driver install problems are caused by the driver file itself being corrupt. Try downloading a new driver from the manufacturers website. most manufacturers have a downloads section or support section where you can find it.
If you have the same problem then you have to find out if the card itself is working. Easiest way is to install it in another computer and try updating driver. If you get same results more than likely the audio car is failing, however; if it is onboard then you cant do that.
Also you could try installing a different driver from the same provider and see if you have same problem of install failure. You may find you have limited functions but *** works or you may find it works fine.
hope this helops
