I have seen the same problem. Some just leave the amount what it says. I could never figure out what number that is.

How much is intereston 1 varable 2 fixed rate

interest is interest
fixed is calculated yearly on the principle and is paid 365 days time
variable changes and is calculated daily ( 1/365 part of the interest rate ) and added to the remaining principle monthly
so if you have a loan of $1000.00 on fixed interest of 10% , regardless of how much you have repaid in a 12 month period , it is 10% of the principle loaned
with a variable interest the interest rate could be 10% today, 15% in 2 months time or 6% later on
it is variable
to add to that it is calculated on a daily basis (1/365 of 10%) and added to the principle left after receiving a payment on the loan
so for a $1000.00 the interest is added to that principle at the end of the month if there is no loan repayment or is added to the principle balance after a payment
the difference is that a variable interest rate loan will allow you to save money if you pay off well before the period of the loan but will add almost 2 to 3 times the loan if you pay the absolute minimum for the period of the loan
a fixed rate is where you know exactly the total interest to be paid at the end of term

How to view total editing time updated in Real time in Word 2007

The total amount of time that a document has been edited is useful for lawyers, consultants, and other professionals who bill for their time.
Knowing how long you have spent working on a document enables you to provide a more accurate accounting of your time.
If you have a time budget that you’re trying to stick to, you may find yourself constantly checking the document’s Properties dialog box to view the Total editing time value.
Rather than wasting time performing that chore, add the EditTime field to your document.
Word’s EditTime field displays the total time, in minutes, that the document has had the system focus (and, presumably, has been edited) since the time at which the document was
created. This is the same as the Total editing time value displayed in the Statistics tab of the document’s Properties dialog box.
Follow these steps to add some code that displays the total editing time with the word minutes added for clarity:

1. Type some descriptive text (such as Total Editing Time).
2. Press Ctrl+F9 to start a new Word field (signified by the { and } braces).
3. Between the field braces, type the following:
EDITTIME # “0 minutes” * mergeformat
4. Press F9 to complete and update the field.

Now all you have to do is update the field (or simply press F9) to check the total editing time instead of going in the properties tab to see total time worked on the document.

Is there anyway to perform an end of day after the fact? I have several employess that close at the end of the day. I have them perform a

Judy,
If you know when your last end-of-day report was run (look at top of report), you can run end-of-day reports for each day by adjusting the computer's clock.
Example: It is Friday, and your last report was run Monday at 11PM. Adjust date/time to Tuesday at 11PM and run end-of-day. Then adjust date/time to Wednesday at 11PM and run end-of-day. Don't forget to set clock correctly or sales will be entered at the wrong date/time.

Restaurant Pro Express - Will not let me do "End of Day". A Message pops up that says: "There is still 1 table currently open. Please close these tables before running End Of Day Function." I never set...

Just uncheck the option to have the End of Day check whether there are open tables.
Go to Manager/Options -> Setup -> Setup Screen -> System Access -> Time Clock -> and check "Ignore Time Clock"

Re holidays accrued.

Your 28 days holiday is free holidays (assuming you have not including predetermined holidays - i.e public holidays)

28 days divide by 12 months = 2.333 days

Your holiday year cannot be April to April as this is 13 months - so I have assumed it is April to March, or it could be May to April - This will affect how many holidays you have earnt upto August.

Multliply the 2.33 days per month by the number of months until your holiday in August. The calculation your employer is using may take into account you have to earn full days by the end of the month before you take a holiday.

2.33 days X 4 months to end of July = 9 days
2.33 days X 5 months to end of August - 11 days.

You may have to exclude the public holidays if this is included in your annual allowance
