My phone wont charge at allits not the cable ive tried several ive tried about everything

  • I am guessing that you have tried multiple wall power adapters. I am also assuming that you have tried several usb cables. If you have not tried a different wall power adapter and power cable go do this first.
  • If I were you I would remove the battery and hold the power button down for 30 seconds. Then replace the battery and back cover. Try charging the phone. If it works you are good to go.
  • If this does not work something major is wrong with your phone. It is most likely a loose charging port. A cell phone repair tech can fix this issue. I would see if your phone is under warranty first.
  • Make sure the cost of the repair is worth it if your phone is broken. Compare the cost of a repair to buying a new phone.
  • This could also be a bad battery, water damage, etc. A bad power port is the most likely cause of your problem.

Sidekick slide wont charge the light wont shine

There was a known power issue with the Sidekick Slide. Motorola recognized the issue and say the fix was creating extra bumpers to keep the battery from sliding around. You may have one that does not have the extra bumpers and therefore your battery contact is weak.

First, make sure you are using a Motorola brand charger. No other chargers work with Motorola phones, even the cheapy ones from gas stations that claim they do. I would then check to make sure the battery is not swollen. If the battery is swollen, it is bad and needs to be replaced. Next, check to see if the phone has any water damage. Under the battery there is a white dot that turns pink/red if it comes in contact with moisture.

If none of the scenarios above fix your problem, I would suggest doing a warranty exchange.

Phone doesent turn on flashing red light when you push the power button. please help.

Try this , it helped me. 1. plugin the charger (or data cable) for about 15 minutes and keep the red light blinking. 2. while the charger (or cable) is hooked to the phone, remove the battery and memory card for 10 to 12 seconds. 3. keep the memory card out and put the battery back in and whalah, it startes up. (really hope this helps)

W\hat does it mean when i see a red exclamation

Hello,

you don't have to be bothered my friend, the red exclamation sign simply indicates that the message is broken along the way which means the message is not delivered completely from th person who sent the message, the lower light tends to notify you about this abnormality and when the message is deleted from the pphone there is nothing it's trying to notify you of,therefore the lighter colour disappears when the message is deleted,

So stay cool, calm and collected because no one is trying to bugg your cell phone.

Be cool.

Red light is on, won't take a charge, screen won't lite up, won't communicate through it's cradle to my pc. Help

Check to see if the prongs on cradle are sending out power. You can do this with a test light or multi-tester.
You can also try plugging in without the cradle if you have a way. If results are the same, then the battery may need to be replaced

How will i know iF G1 phone has water damage

Remove the back cover and battery of the device. Set the battery aside and look inside the phone. In the lower right hand corner near the gold prongs there is a circle sticker. It will be on the side wall of the device. If the sticker is red, your phone has been exposed to water damage.
