Question about Viking VGRC485-6 Gas Kitchen Range
When I turn on the large oven, both igniters come on and in less than 2 minutes both burners light. After approx 20 seconds the left one shuts off, the right one remains on...I have tried swaping igniters with the small oven, no change. I also purchased a new gas control valve and replaced it...Prior to replacing it, the oven would not light at all....Open to any and all suggestions.
SOURCE: Occasional gas smell
If you have a burner lit and gas build up, strong smell etc., my advice would be to stop using the oven immediately! You no way gas should come out, build up, to the point you smell it, Especially while a burner is lit. Dangerous condition.

SOURCE: I have just replaced all
first check to make sure all the burner tops are setting correctly on the burner base, if not it will make the flame uneven. the way the igniter works is once they feel the flames on them they will stop sparking. make sure the flames are not too low and they are touching the igniter. check them one at a time. if you have any questions message me back thanks
