Question about Printers & Copiers
Printer jammed with too much paper and when it was removed, there was a thin transparent brown "strap" that came unattached from the print carriage. i need to know where to reinstall it and the lexmark x3430 disassembly instructions will be most useful to do this. the unit is already disassembled, i just need a picture or guidance to put the part in and stop the cartridge from slamming from side-to-side in error mode...

Hi Good day!! try this turn off the printer pull out the power cord and usb cable, check the pathway of the print head maybe there is something the block in your printer that may cause your print head to not move perfectly. if all clean move the print head to the center, now re plug the power cord and turn back on your printer, reply if still the same.
