Question about Toshiba Gigabeat MEG-F20S MP3 Player
I have had the Gigabeat for a long while but haven't hooked up to the new computer until now. The computer runs on Vista. I have updated everything on the Gigabeat, (firmware & software) but when I connect it to the computer it is recognized a portable hard drive and tries to auto play. It gives no option to sync to anything, Media Player or GB Room. It's got me stumped. I have tried copying the files over to the Gigabeat but they only show up in storage and are unplayable. I have tried numerous times to find drives that would work, but no luck. I hope someone here can help me figure this out.
Hi had the same problem with mine, you must use the dock and have the connections setting set to media player it will sync then

Try using windows media player 11 and go sync the MP3 player using that method. if you click on my computer and click on the device highlight the music you want from your device to your computer and copy them to your music file.
