Warranty your therm. Your local distributer will give you paperwork, and the company should reimburse you. If it is out of warranty you'll have to buy a new therm.

Hi.... My Air conditioning remote control AR-DL1 doesn't seem to be working.It's been working on and off for a while,but now ....Nothing at all ( I changed the batteries also ) .Since I don't know if it's...

Remove batteries and keep for 5 minutes. And also remove DC wire plugged in display sensor in your indoor unit. Now, plug again DC wire in same position and also put batteries in remote. Power on and try now. In many units, this type of resetting would help. If still problem, check remote thr' camera mobile by pressing any button in remote. If ultra light flashes, remote is o.k.You have to repair/replace PCB only. If no ultra light, replace remote.Thanks.

I changed the batterys in my 1F78-151 thermostat and now the backlite does not work.....

• Display Backlight - (Not available on earlier models.) The display backlight improves display contrast in low lighting conditions. Selecting backlight ON will turn the light on for a short period of time after any button is pressed. Selecting backlight OFF (default) will keep the light off. Turn the display backlight feature ON as follows: 1. Press TIME and RUN buttons at the same time. The display will show "d-L" and "OFF" alternately

Hi, check the wire connections to make sure the Red wire is good and tight. This is only low voltage, so don't worry about getting zapped. If all wires are tight. you may have blown the control fuse at the indoor unit. Go to it with a good light, pull the panels and look for a circuit board that the thermostat wires connect to. Depending on the age, you should have a plug in fuse, like a auto fuse that will be a 3 to 5 amp fuse. See if it is blown. If your not sure, replace it anyway. Put the panels on correctly, and see if this solves your problem. If so, don't forget to rate me :)

Hi, there is nothing more aggravating than having your household appliances not work.
Like a computer, the "thermostat" (it holds the batteries) retains the information you program (maybe the technician) to set the temperature controls.
The highs and lows can normally be bypassed with the push of a button.
Removing the batteries clears the memory. (Volatile memory).
When this happens, you must reprogram the thermostat so it knows what settings to operate at.
Can you get the instructions on how to program the thermostat? The instructions are usually on a paper on the thermostat lid.

(when changing batteries, remove one battery, then put a new one in its place before removing the next one. This keep some power to prevent the settings from being cleared.

I tried all the tricks mentioned previously to no avail.

These are the steps I performed to get it to work:

1. Remove batteries and make sure the battery contacts inside the unit are clean.

2. Disconnect all the wires from the back of the unit. Be careful not let any of the bare wire ends to come in contact with each other. Make sure you mark the wires or verify that the color code matches the markings on the rear cover:
W=White wire;
Y=Yellow wire;
G=Green wire;
R=Red wire (low voltage DC); and
C=Common (wire color varies)

3. Leave the unit disconnected with batteries removed for about an hour to make sure all the memory drains. I waited an hour, but it may not require that much time.

4. Install the batteries in the correct positions per the instructions. The unit should perform a power up display test, then the display will flash the time and temperature.

5. Set the clock and the display will stop flashing.

6. Slide the switch to cool and/or heat and program the desired weekday/weekend settings.

7. Slide the switch back to off once all weekday/weekend settings are made.

8. Reconnect the wires that were removed in step 2.

9. System should be operational at this time.
