Help :( Hello,atiqq!I need some help with my HP Pavilion!I dont know the model but it shows me 4 models there...I buyed it at Canada  at right corner on screen it was HP pavilion dv 6000,at sticker it was dv 6700 and dv6704CA.So i got problems with lan card.It says i dont have that device in my PC.Please help me,say me some way to get drivers or to fix it :S.Im kinda sick with using Wi-Fi always bcz it was too slow...my internet is almost DSL and i got wi-fi from near net Coffee.Thanks you alot please answer me.

    so im with amd processor...The problem is comes from installing iTunes 8+.... it some kinda bugs my lan card...I use hp driver and software downloader to download Install_Vista_6213_1119 ... drivers (realtek) and when i install -installer says : Plug ethernet cable and press yes... i do that.... and it says me : U dont have lan card on this PC or somethink... btw im with AMD 64 (vista)

Ok i have seen this before it is a problem with the motherboard not the lan card. HP has a common problem with this model with the AMD processor. The repair may be free. Go to this site and step through the process to get it repaired. They will cover it upto 2 years after your warranty is up if yours is one that is listed.

I am looking for a video flex cable for my laptop PC
dv7-4272us 17.3" Laptop
the HP parts surfer names the part clear as day.
and #2 the part it self most times has p/n tag.
now you have the correct number 2 times.
and why fear $10 guess,? its fleabay, it can be bad there too, with most parts there are used. buy it.
HP dont have it, whats to lose.?

My HP Pavilion Power Supply
 Since you didn't tell us your model i must assume it's an tower with standard ATX power source. Buy a new one from a different location - any computer shop will have them, just make sure you buy one with enough power. A 450W one will be just right.

BIOS help
Hello
you need to download right bios and burn it to a CD, then you need to boot from that cd.
plz give me the exactly model of your computer? and I will search for the bios update.
you can boot from the recovery cds before you have "installed" the right bios.
let me know the exact model and I will give you more instructions what todo.

if you know how to burn and how to get the right bios go here and input your model.

Need copy of HP Pavilion zv 5316 us OS recovery Discs
Hey they are under no circumstance do anything otherwise. They wont ship it to you. What you can do, is have them ship it to a friend in the states. And have your friend ship it to you. I think thats the best possible solution. Because the disc are only for sale by them and they are not online for free download. As much as i wish they were ISO downloads. HP will not provide with them. Especially because every HP model are different and it will be a lot of bandwith to allow data transfers.

My suggestion is to ask a friend to mail it to you. or if you go on forums ask someone if they can make a copy for you if they have the same HP Pavilion

Finding my HP Pvailion Model
The model should be listed on the bottom of the laptop. You should see stickers with the serial numbers and model number listed underneath. I hope this has explained your question in detail. If I've helped you please don't forget to rate me. Peter
