please make this test and fix it. God bless you

  1. ain control boardIf your microwave runs for a few seconds and stops, the first thing to check is the main control board to ensure that a shortage has not occurred. If the part is defective then it will need to be replaced to prevent continual shut offs. If this is not the issue, the next step would be to check for a faulty touchpad.
  2. Touchpad/Control panelIf the control board is not the issue and your microwave continues to shut off after running for only a few seconds, the next thing to check is your touchpad, which is also known as a control panel. Although uncommon for this issue, symptoms are usually that the display and some buttons are working properly; however, when selected some buttons are not functioning. If this is the case the touchpad will need to be replaced.

Kettle is noisy. How do I descale?

There are some descaler solutions available that can be bought at supermarkets. After you use any of them please make sure that you fully fill up to the maximum level allowed with water, boil it, drain it (dont use it) twice before it can be used for usual consumption.
You can have a look here http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-descale-a-kettle

I have a Kenwood bread machine & for 3 1/2 weeks have been endeavouring to replace the"pan". We have called the firm you suggest but they cannot get an answer re stock from yourselves. We...

This service you are connecting to is not Kenwood, nor are we related to Kenwoo, but I will try to help you. Without knowing your model of breadmaker, I can only direct you to general site that lists all of Kenwoods models and you can choose your model and the part you need. I assume you are located in the UK,so go to the link below and you will see all of the models Kenwood sells. Select your model and your pan should be listed as a purchasable item:

http://www.torreelectrics.co.uk/acatalog/Kenwood_Bread_Maker_spares_and_spare_parts.html

Please let me know if you have more information for such as your location, the model number and I will tell you where you can find your part. I hope I was able to help you and look forward to hearing from you soon.

In case of a problem or clarification or my solution was insufficient, don't hesitate to post me a reply.

If you are satisfied, rate my solution with the "thumbs" or (even better) add a testimonial.

How do you desalazize kettle?

If by desalazize you mean remove the deposits which build up from the minerals in your tap water, the easiest way to do it is with white vinegar (most vinegar will work but white is best for cleaning).
  1. Fill kettle with a mixture of white vinegar and water (about 50/50 but it doesn't have to be exact) until it covers as much of the deposits as possible.
  2. Heat the kettle until the liquid boils
  3. Let the kettle sit with the liquid in it for 3-6 hours
  4. Empty and Rinse
  5. Fill kettle with regular water, boil, and empty to get rid of any lingering vinegar taste.
If the deposits are especially thick, you may need to repeat steps 1-4 before moving on to step 5.

I want to buy a replacement KETTLE only, for my black, RH Quick 2 Boil Kettle, any suggestions. Nick

I would contact Russel Hobbs and see if they actually sell them separately. When you are online to them there should be available, a list of retailers that stock the item you want http://www.amazon.co.uk/Russell-Hobbs-15198-Quick-2-Boil-Kettle/dp/B003DNSQPC

I see what you mean, it is part of a set. I bought one, in dark grey, and I am sure they sold one in black, from Wilkinsons. It was Quick Boil Kettle only, on a standard connector stand. TJ Hughes also stock them!

Hope that helps.

I have a Russell Hobbs kettle which is now leaking. Can it be repaired. It is several years old but still works well.

The coils of Russel Hobbs outrun the shell jar for sure as the corrosion in the kettle would have caused the leak.
The best can be to get the kettle welded with metal, use gas welding to mend up the leak and use a good grinding tool to polish off the suface.
Wash and clean/scrub well to remove all flux /dirt before you use it.
Boil water three times to discard before you use it.
You can continue to use the Hobbs.

Can i use water boiled from microware to make formula milk for a baby that is 1yr old

I wouldn't recommend to use the microwave to boil water. Here you can read the reason why: http://www.snopes.com/science/microwave.asp

Water can 'explode' when heated in a microwave under certain conditions. Best way to boil water should either be using a water boiler or an old-fashioned kettle.
