Any time i connect a usb hub a message pop up: generic usb hub has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows xp
Press "continue anyway" if the option is available.
It just means that the drivers for your usb have not been tested and confirmed working by Microsoft, this will happen with some 3rd party drivers.
Make sure you have system restore enabled in case the drivers do give you a BSOD as you will need to restore your system to an earlier time
