Question about Email Services

1 Answer

Someone at my workplace sent me an e-mail about a month ago from her workplace e-mail account to my yahoo e-mail account. But I did not receive this e-mail. And this confusion caused a big trouble to me at my workplace. Now I need to prove that my yahoo e-mail account did not receive these e-mails. How can I do this?

Unfortunately there is no way to prove you never received the message. Show them your inbox and trash folder and just try to convince them. Tell them it is possible for email messages to be lost in transit.

I am not getting all my emails

If someone hacked your account, he / she is the boss. You can't login to your account.
If you still can login, you should change all settings, like password, return address if the password has to be reseted. Then setup a more complex password.
If you can receive mails on one device and not on another, you should check the settings on the device not capable of receiving mails. It has nothing to do with hack, just with manning your accounts.

Someone sent spam emails from my closed yahoo mail account to all contacts. How can I stop this??

Its not closed. Its just hacked. Please see if you can access the e-mail and change the password and security questions. So that no one can use it.

Someone is sending emails to all of my contacts and it is not me...how do I make this stop, short of closing my yahoo account... my email address is jeepgirltaylor@yahoo.com if this cannot be...

Hi,

There are chances that someone has knows your password and is sending mails from your email id. Check your sent folder to find out if someone has sent mail from your email id.

Or

Someone is using spam email ( third party ) and enter your email id in from field and sending the mails.

Hi,
The Yahoo account gets disabled after 3 months due to non-login...
As you informed that you have not login from last from 4 Months...

then might be possible that you can loose your mail ..

suggest you to make it login ASAP and ask Yahoo troubleshoot team to recover your old mail...

by this only you can get your old mail

A month ago my ebay account was locked due to someone else hacking into it, ever since then I do not get any e-mails from ebay even though they are sent. Is there a way this can be fixed??

hi thanks for using fixya!

Perhaps, due to the illegal hacking of your ebay account, perhaps the person changed something in the settings of your ebay so that you're not able to receive any emails from ebay anymore.

If you need further assistance, let me know.

Email attachments I send and receive come back to me or are not sent to me due to size. I never had this problem until I switched from Windows vista to Windows EX Professional

What in the world is Windows EX Professional or it should hav been mentioned as Windows XP Professional..
Anyhow the email attachments has nothing to do with the OS, but rather the e-mail account you are using, If you have a personalized webmail say Microsoft outlook and using it at your workplace then the size of the e-mail attachemnts is restricted to few KB's by the administrator(Mine in Workplace is not above 200KB).

Use the free email accounts in Yahoo and gmail as they allow you to send an email attachment of <= 10 MB and <=20 MB.

Pay Pal sent funds to my yahoo mail after the account was closed

You can go into your Paypal account and add the other Yahoo email account to your Paypal account. Then you can claim the money sent to the other Yahoo account. You can have, I believe, up to 6 email accounts receiving money on one paypal acct.

Need to prove that I did not receive an email that was sent to me

If it's with in the past two weeks Usually your companies System admin can track the delivery of incoming and out going messages. They will not be able to say that the message was delivered to your inbox but they will be able to say if it reached yahoo's server!
