F1 error message on kenmore gas range

We bought this used from an individual. Got it home and plugged it in and get the f1 beeping error message. The guy said it probably drew moisture from being outside. We used a blow dryer and then the error message and beeping quit. The oven worked fine but when I hit the 'timer' button, the f1 beeping error message came back and won't quit unless you unplug it. The label that had the model number is gone from the back of the range. Is there anywhere to find a model number so I can call the repair shop? Is there anything I can do to stop the beeping?
