Question about Freecom MediaPlayer-3 Digital Media Player

Open Question

Freecom iaplayer 35

When I plug the mediaplayer into a PC via USB - it works fine on that PC. The next time I plug it in on a PC that it has once been used on then the PC wont find it. In the device manager, the USB mass storage device cannot start due to error 10. Any ideas? Thanks!

SOURCE: USB not recognized

if the usb ur using is 1.0 - it can read it - get a 2.0 external unit and you're good to go.

Wouldn't surprise me, I just fixed a Dell xps that wouldn't boot from cd/rom or hdd. Whenusing a different hdd it booted fine. After 3 days & finally testing it on another machine via usb,so I could scan it, there were 49 viruses that apparently can shut down a hdd,cd/rom, even an entire pc. Could also be a problem with the power board for the hdd if it plugs in usb. I have an issue currently where if I plug anything into my card reader it bsod's on me.

I have lost the cd which came with my freecom classic hd 80gb and I had to wipe my computer. Now my computer will not read the files on my freecom harddrive

You don't need any software to use this device. If your hdd is external, you just plug it in to any computer via the USB port. If it is an internal hdd same thing again. You can read your files after restoring your computer. But of course it must be your secondary hdd.

My 250gb hard drive is not working

Assuming this external hard drie is powered via USB, you probably just need the drivers:

Yes, click "Video" button on the remote several times. It will cycle through the different video outputs and modes and land on the right one. I guess you're seeing a black screen with little dashes floating diagonally across the screen.
