Question about Dishwashers

1 Answer

Just fitted a new circuit control board for my indesit di62, the test cicle started and ran until finished. I heard two beebs to tell me cicle had finished but when I looked at the program selector the second and third lights were flashing. Had a chat on the forum and it mentions about draining off a flood tray but not sure how this is done so looking to confirm that this is the error message and how to correct it. thanks Dave.

Indesit iwc61651 washer starts up and begins wash then trips electrics 5 mins in it will spin and drain completely but won't finish a wash will a new top board and panel correct this issue?

It sounds like there is a short circuit on the heater or within the heater circuit. Remove the wires from the heater and using a test meter place one lead on one of the terminals (not the earth terminal) and the other lead on the heater case, this should give you a reading if there is a short circuit in the element itself.

hi, well that's a 70amp rhino controller, beeb seven normally amounts to a throttle pot (wig wag ) fault... i suggest you make sure there are no water around the connector plugs going into the controller , please remove one battery lead before proceeding..I do offer free controller testing and have swap out units if required for as little as £40...

Indesit DV 620 Dishwasher: Reaches the end of it cycle then sits for ever with the DRYING light flashing. Cannot reset it or start a new cycle. However, intermittantly it will reset.

Hi I had the same problem with the ID620. Just fixed it last week. With the ID620 flashing 4 means tha t there is a problem with the heating circuit. Either the element, the stat or the control board. Mine was a problem with the control Board. I took the board out and after some debug found a faulty zener diode. Replaced with new one from Radionics (1 euro) and machine now 100%.

F 11 code

F01 - There may be an internal problem with the control, attempt a Hard Reset.

Hard Reset - In some cases the control can be non-functioning or may not accept activation from the control panel. To clear and restart the control follow the these steps:

* Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
* Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
* Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the "PF" in the display.
* Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.

The F01 generally indicates a failed electronic machine control board.
This error code can sometimes be caused by a glitch or power surge through the electrical lines.
You may be able to clear this code by unplugging the washer for 5 minutes.
If the code returns after plugging the washer back in, then the electronic machine control board will need to be replaced.

The procedure for accessing and replacing this control board is shown in this image...

Be sure to unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
When you access the control board, I recommend transferring the wires from the old control board to the new replacement control board one connection at a time.
Once you have all of the wires transferred, remove the old control board and mount the new control board in the washer.
Reassemble and test the washer.

The "F01" error code indicates a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU.
The "F01" can also be displayed if the onboard "Pump Driver" fails to activate.
Generally in order to correct this failure will require replacing the CCU.
There is no way to test and verify if the control board has failed.
The technical data sheet basically states to replace the CCU.

Selector knob on my Indesit Washing Machine WI 121 keeps turning & light flashes twice before light turns off. This happens approx 4 times in a whole turn of the knob. Indesit want £100 to come out to fix!...

Hi.
Sounds like you have faulty control module, which is quite expensive to replace.
Also the E.P.R.O.M would have to be replaced as well.
Probably cheaper to buy new washer.

Good luck.

Beebing tree times

Louise -

Although the memory may be working okay in another system, the three beeps at post still indicates a memory(RAM) problem. Your motherboard uses AMI BIOS, as indicated by the product specifications on the Asrock website; In the post-error code listing, three beeps is a memory issue.

Check and make sure you have compatible memory for the motherboard; and if possible, test with new or alternate memory sticks.

If new memory doesn't resolve the issue, I would say the RAM slot(s) is damaged, which would require totally replacing the motherboard.

Hope this helps!

Indesit W1A111 starts cycle when selector set to "off"

many indesits have a memory on board, set the timer to off position, turn on the mains press start let the machine finish what it is doing, and it will reset normally, turn off at mains for a few minutes can also do the trick, it sounds like one of the option buttons was pressed and you didn't let the timer finish its course,
