Problem with YH-925

Hi, My Samsung Yh-925 don't want to work : Error message : "the device firmaware needs repair. Please connect to PC ...." I tried to connect it to PC. Not recognized by PC. Please, can you help me ?

    i have the same problem and i did what you told me. i did hear the click and it still wont connect to the pc so i cant fix the firmware. what do i do now? i know my usb works bc b4 i tried installing i plugged in my camera and it worked perfectly fine. is there any way to fix my device now?

It appears you need to use the rollback program, or the recovery program. But it also sounds like your usb cord is either broken or not plug in tightly. Press the usb adapter in untill you hear a click then plug it into the pc.

Deleting files

If you need to run the recovery utility or format your YH-925, it needs to be in HDD Mode, not MTP mode. To temporarily restore the device back to HDD Mode:
  1. Ensure the YH-925 is powered off and disconnected from the PC
  2. Press and hold the >> button on the side of the device.
  3. While still holding the >> button, connect the YH-925 to your PC.
  4. YH-925 is restored back to HDD Mode until disconnected from the computer.
  5. Format the YH-925 by right clicking on the device in My Computer.

But from everything i have read, the upgrade is the way to go. Good luck and hope this helps.
