Try inserting another piece of memory card. and format it. if the problem still persist, i suggest that your camera needs to be brought to the service center.

Hi,

Might this help? It is for another model but would closely resemble CX7350 removal procedures.

Just boiught camera last night - everytime I turn the camera on with the memory stick, I get the error "re-insert Memory Card". After doing so, I get the same error time after time.

Make sure that the memory card is the correct type for your camera. Your camera box should have listed on it somewhere either SD, SDHC, XD, MMC, Memory stick or Memory stick ProDuo. If the card type is correct and you have a device that it does work in load it in that device and format it. If it still doesn't work in your camera then try a different card because the one you have is probably bad.

I have inserted the memory card into my camera and it is showing 'Card Error' when I turn the camera on.

Hello sara..... remove the card and check the perimeter of the card for the sliding lock. Unlock the card and reinsert it. If it is a new card, after insertion, turn the camera on and then go into the menu and locate the format function. Format the card. Now you are good to go. Joe

Thanks for choosing Fixya!

Well i have a DXG 3.0 megapixel video camera im having problems uploading pictures to my computer.Ive put the disk in that it came with but that doesn,t even work.So im pretty much running out of options...

Highly recommend that you consider using a card reader to download your pictures. You insert the camera's memory card into the reader, and then insert the reader into a USB port on your computer. The card then shows up as a hard drive so that you can simply copy/paste or drag your picture files onto your computer. Card readers are much more faster in downloading pics, do not require the use of your camera's batteries, and provide much more reliable downloading of the pictures (fewer errors). They're also VERY inexpensive these days. Here are some examples from Amazon:

The DXG uses SD cards:

Memory card error

Check the slot and see if the pins inside are fine, no breakages, free from dust etc. Try turning the camera on and off (completely remove batteries etc).

The camera screen displays a "Memory card requires formatting" error message. What should I do?

This error message means that the card is corrupted or formatted for another digital camera. Turn off the camera. Insert a new card or format the card. CAUTION: Formatting deletes all pictures and videos, including those that are protected. Removing a card during formatting may damage the card.
