Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hi, use the driver "HP LaserJet 1022, 1.3.0.261" and it will work with Snow Leopard 10.6. Don't use the Gutenprint version of same driver---dosen't work!

HP flat-out says on their site they have no Mac support for this printer. I did find this forum where people have posted the steps to make it work with OS X, but it seems like more trouble than it's worth, especially since it seems you have to go through the process every time you turn the printer off. It would probably be easier just to pick up a new printer that already has Mac drivers. With sales and rebates, there's always something available for not much money.

Mac OS All the HP LaserJet printers covered by this document, except for the HP LaserJet 1018 and 1020 Series and the HP LaserJet CP1210 Series , are compatible with the latest versions of Mac OS X (Mac OS X 10.4 and Mac OS X 10.5).

I need an HP LaserJet driver that is compatible with MAC OS X that will support HP LaserJet 1100

Can you post your solution on the same page as your problem and comments?

I found a solution but saw that you got it solved before I could post and this is what I found http://www.linuxfoundation.org/en/OpenPrinting/MacOSX/hpijs

I found it on the Linux OpenPrinting site but this package works with Mac OS X as well. It also works with more than 776 printers.

This is an HPIJS for Mac OS X and the page gives package details describing the drivers as well as installation instructions. I work with HP computers at my job but have not yet had a chance to try this out on the MAC operating systems.

I'm glad you fixed...what a feeling! LOL!

Drivers for Mac OS 9.04

If the mac OS 9 driver will work, it is one on the HP website. See link below.   If it does not work, then no one wil have a driver for it. Only hardware makers write drivers for their hardware. Driver download sites only save  drivers already written.
