Tv color has changed to greenish.

You may have a couple of problems.The shading is probably caused by a defective light tunnel, Samsung is covering the cost to repair this problem on certain models. You can call 1-800-samsung to find out if it is covered. The noise and color distortion sound like the color wheel is also beginning to fail. Both of these components are inside the light engine and I would recommend not trying it yourself.

FIRST DEPENDING ON WHAT TYPE OF TV IS HOW TO GO ABOUT TROUBLESHOOTING IT. BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR BULB/CRT/SCREEN LCDS MIGHT NEED TO BE REPLACED OR FIXED OR RE-JUVED. AGAIN THIS ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT TYPE OF TV YOU HAVE.

hitachi model 51f510 projection tv has horizontal lines & has greenish tint,do i need to chang the bulbs??i alredy tryd the magic focus button & manual focus,but unsuccesfl,any ideas????

Try placing the dvd-player as far as you can away from the TV. It may be creating EMI (electro-magnetic interference). Ensure that the wires from the DVD-to-TV are not positioned close to other electronic devices -try moving them.

You say the TV works fine on its own, so that is good; there is probably no big magnet or speaker near the TV.

If it is not anything external causing interference, then yes, your DVD player is probably malfunctioning. Try borrowing a friends..

adjust vscan  vs & va voltages on power supply, if not that drive pcb's are bad

Try the degauss feature
The monitor will have a menu
Use the arrow buttons to navigate
Take a look at this image
Use the degauss, by locating that icon
The monitor will flicker and the shades will be removed.

since dlps use a color wheel to make the color the color wheel may be going out. get it serviced

first check the power supply board for puffy capacitors. then change the t-con board on lcd panel

THERE IS APROBLEM IN VIDEO SECTION.OR CRT TUBE .REPLACED CRT BASE AND GREEN CATODE TRANSITOR OR WHOLE BASE IT WILL WORK OK

Tubes are probably dirty. Very expensive fix. Unless it has a warranty or is recently new, look for a local cheap one or one with a smashed screen of the same size. Easy to change the screens out and is very cost effective.
